I don’t think you understand what a half track is, half track as in half tracked half something else usually wheels but sometimes skis. Second I don’t want to see a PC’s with bigger and bigger guns turning into weaker tanks. We need to maintain balance of infantry and armor.

the half tracks of world war 2 are extremely iconic vehicles, it is insane they are locked away to premiums and events

I suppose what I might add onto this list, is a Kangaroo variant in somewhere for the Western Allies.
Take this Kangaroo built on the RAM chassis, would fit well as a BR 3 APC.
Germans
This was more annoying, since I feel that the 250 is a bit too small, and the 251 is a fucking premium for some reason. cough , Anyhow, I went looking about into its variants, you could just use an Ausf C. variant, since they function near identically at least to what I think is an Ausf D model we have in game.
The Ausf C pictured here, honestly the main visual difference between the models is the angled rear hatch doors. As opposed to the Ausf D in game already, which is just a wartime simplified model.
The Other option I thought for the germans might work is the Sd.Kfz. 4, which is essentiality a Sd.Kfc 3 with armour, which is already in game in the former of the panzerwerfer 42. However, its hard to find info on it online quickly, though production figures for it suggest it was used as an APC too as there was only a limited run made or upgraded into the Sd.Kfz. 4/1, aka the panzerwerfer 42.
These are technically munition carrier variants, but in theory they were armed with a MG34/42 and could in theory carry infantry instead of ammo.
Soviets
The bren is a go to tbh, either the bren or the M3A1 scout car, both of which were used in large quantities by the soviets.

I agree, we need more vehicles in game.
However can we please stop focusing on USSR?
USSR has enough stuff as it is. Might as well merge USSR with USA-UK at this point given the amount of American tech USSR has.
The Universal Carrier and M3 Halftrack belong in USA-UK tech tree. Period.
I have suggested 1110 times now that DF consider the Australian or Canadian UC if they are so desperate that the event UC be untouched by mere mortals.
Personally Id like the Australian one cause… Im Australian. Its an opportunity for another Australian squad, and also Id just really like a Vickers gun in game.
For the Soviets they should get rid of the stupid M3A1 which belongs with USA
And instead give them the BTR I think its called. War Thunder has an SPAA version.
I think Im open to halftracks with guns. The M3 GMC for instance would be great in game and its not as if they are OP (quite the opposite).
Id also like to see the M16 halftrack added as a higher BR SPAA.
Sdkfz 251 as in War Thunder for higher BR SPAA Axis would be good as well.

You are telling that ussr has enough stuff in the tree, while saying nothing about germany that holds from 30% to 40% of the whole game’ content.
And japan that has 1/4 of what germany has.

And there is far too much focus on USSR. I find it really interesting people scream copy paste if someone suggests France or separate UK tree for instance (without even seeing the proposed tree).
Yet they actively support USSR getting a bunch of copy paste USA or German tech they shouldnt have, and even a Tiger tank for Japan which Japan definitely shouldnt have.
Give USA-UK the M3 Halftrack, Mathilda tank, Lewis gun and Winchester rifle!!!
Someone was also asking for a goddamn Thompson in USSR as if USSR needs more SMGs. USSR has the best SMGs in the game.
Weve also been asking for a 20 round Thompson for Allies because early BR Allied SMGs arent very good at all

well, i can’t deny it’s also one of my favorite vehicles from the soviets in low br…
but again… that’s from the 50 
wished for custom support so i could introduce it for my vietnam mod though…
