Weaponized APCs for Tech Trees ( All nations )

One for guys who hoard 30-40% of the game content and definitely no one for guys who are 3rd, understandable.

well ugh…

ever heard of land lease ?

i wouldn’t say the soviet majorly depended from it, but it sure benefited from it.

which as a reminder:

easy to modify due to the model being already present.

inspite of your preferences or " hate " regarding the soviets.

every faction need a weaponized APC from the tech tree.

INCLUDING the soviets.

sure.

but it was also used by the soviets.

so… to save some time ( considering that the US already has an event UC ) they might get one.

it’s cheap to produce.

even though i’m not opposed to home made models.

a bit of bias ehi.

but it’s okay.

well, kangaroos would be lovely to see.
although, it’s not up to me.

if they can make it, more to it.

well no. because they also used it.

D2-knNzW0AA6WaZ

which it’s why it’s premium too.

no?

the btr 1 is a 50s vehicle.

Okay, I vote for removing every land-lease stuff, just add BTR-152D into the game, muhahahaha

well, i can’t deny it’s also one of my favorite vehicles from the soviets in low br…

but again… that’s from the 50 :upside_down_face:

wished for custom support so i could introduce it for my vietnam mod though…

If you want some “soviet-made” stuff in soviet tech tree then we should add prototype stuff as devs did for japan.

i never said i’m opposed.

i just said that to cut time and get something quickly that every faction need, something that it’s already in the game…

except japan.

japan really struggles…
and does need one of it’s own that is not inside enlisted.

after all, it’s devs them selves who clearly stated:

and if a mere modder such as my self with little knowledge managed to make most of the above functional, i’m sure developers can do it too.

We can also get rid of panzerfausts from soviet tech tree if we add ptototype grenade launchers.

Speaking of copy-paste stuff, why do Germans have soviet ampulomet, ppsh, ppd?

weapons diversity is not a bad thing to have.

well, many rare instances of which most were and are either behind some sort of requirement ( Ppsh for example, were stalingrad exclusive ) ampulet just like Qpunders or pak 40 for japs, lazyness.

and others as funny rare and limited gimmick.

only you guys are being against it.

personally, i’m in favor of captured weapons as long in limited quantity.

but that’s another thread for another time.

i dont care about weapons at all, I would love to see as many weapons I can get.

I care only about the ratio of game stuff in different trees.

Japan has 56 items, iirc, soviets 80? America 120 and Germany 150. IIRC, but anyway.

A simple thing that they can do for the Sd.Kfz 251 without having to make a new vehicle would be to make the same vehicle but with a different armament. If I’m not mistaken, the premium 251 is armed with the MG42, so they can put a 251 armed with the MG34 in the regular tech tree. Problem solved, and it would really not take long to make.
They should really implement the mgs at the rear of the vehicle though.

decorative as in japanese apc?

I’d like the germans to have something else than the ampulomets though. A good equivalent would be the Puppchen for the germans, and the Northover projector for the british for example.

They can just make the gunners more accurate, lol.

really, puppchen, is it a weapon for firethrower squad?

Where is fire, Lebowski? Isnt is just a fancy panzerfaust with shaped charge?

This for germany:

Or this italian thing:

Northover projector is okay I think

Another variant would be this for japan:

This for USA:

Remove ampulomet for USSR and add this:

And for germany I have already showed two things.

The ampulomet was an anti-tank weapon too, it wasn’t meant to be used against infantry.

Where are my other shells then, it only has fire shell in game and is buildable by firethrower squad.

I’ll just copy-paste wikipedia for the ampulomet: “The burning liquid would seep through vision slots or engine grilles on a tank and ignite ammunition or fuel as well as choke and blind the crew.”
The Northover projector is not very different, but it used phosphorus instead iirc.

Then armor-piercing high-explosive is an anti-infantry shell because it can:

  1. Pen human and kill him.
  2. Explode near a human and kill him with shrapnel.
