For me using weapons like the AVS, FG42 bring no satisfaction! I didnt achieve anything! I just won with no effort.
When i play my K98k, MP40, FmW41 - setuo in moscow, winning is not hard but not easy. If i would equip ZH29s, MKBs - the fun would be gone, immersion gone for me.
When i was grinding normandy to gwt the STG i became disgusted at myself half way through. I would gray zone camp with tanks, suicide bomb and overall be a massive asshole, and i regret playing like that, because i remember the grind as fucking pain.
While moscow i always stuck to non-toxic historically accurate setups, and i look back at the memories when moscow wasnt infested with Bhopping AVSers and i get happy.
Keofox himself shares my view, he thinks that the game has gone too full auto path.
So i stand by my statement - winning while exploiting loopholes isnt winning. It isnt satisfying, it ruins the experience of new players.

this is what im saying. My M2 squads have been much more effective compared to my FG42 squads lol
Yes. That’s why I only have 4 FG42 in my 3 assualt squads. Prefer G34k and MP43 and FG42II, FG42 is the gun that I am forced to pick up when there’s no other choice. It’s, at least according to my experience, much less effective than any one of them

Which is arguably the second best gun in the whole game. And you wouldn’t have been power grinding, if you didn’t WANT to use it.
And “but it’s restricted to assaulters” is a feeble argument, since at that point it is possible continuously cycle through 3 dedicated assaulters squads.
And here’s the mentality I was talking about. Textbook weapon shaming.
I’m unfortunately not skilled enough to test it myself, but would it be less toxic and ethically acceptable to stomp newbies exactly the same, but with mid-tier semiautos and SMGs instead?
I fail to see how using endgame weapons, which is what the entire progression system of the game openly and actively encourages players to do (along with the pack of any selective matchmaker), would be “exploiting loopholes”.

But i like shitty bolt actions they are nice to use 
Still prefer them over semi autos mainly as they are a lot more satisfying to use <3
I like my BA in Tunisia and Moscow too.
And they would be even more fun to use if bots didn’t move around erratically with no inertia at all like drunken gnats. But that’s a different matter.

Bolt action snipers are much better for the snipers. I used fully upgraded Mosin snipers in Berlin considering my experience with the SVT-40 sniper in Moscow.
Bolt action sniper rifles are better for sniper squads, scoped SVTs and G43s are better as DMRs in a squad where you unlocked a sniper.

Because the game forces you to. And normandy back then was a terrible campaign, and its like how can i not do it when that jumbo is camping too.
Imagine using completely broken weapons and saying “I fail to see the problem, i worked hard so i shall make new players suffer”
They shouldnt be this OP, you are exploiting the games loopholes, of having no inacuracies while airborne, and using these weapons.
And yea oh yes am i going to look down on you if you use 9 man squads with these weapons.
You need to swallow this hard pill.
Using SF weapons doesnt mean your good at the game
For Berlin i enjoy the semi-auto snipers a lot more.
In moscow the SVT sniper is a powerhouse too. But i still love my pre-war K98k sniper

Depends on how you play, if you shoot from a long way away, the higher zoom and higher precision of the bolt action is better. If you play as a designated marksman, shooting targets that aren’t that far away and you keep close to the cap zone, then semiautos are better.
Comeback another month later, and you will see the same thing 
It’s the first time I choose to play with full squads of fg42s II in berlin since I wanted to experience that too.
I m loving every single shot with them.
Feels that my grind was worth my time.
I couldnt care less If someone talks about it. I m having so much fun
2 squads full eng with fg42. II as my “para squads” all of them on full auto lmao.
What could go wrong.

And isn’t even the case most times since I m always against ppsh41s all the fking time.
So I m always playing against high level players most of the times in berlin.
And to be fair, the weapon is available for me to use, why wouldnt I…
And ofc I keep my hopes they will limit said weapons to paratrooper squads or what ever. But now, I ill enjoy them as they are.

Honestly, I have chosen Enlisted over HLL and PS because it is NOT historically accurate. Sometimes I doubt myself for the choice I made, but hey Enlisted has the arcade action fast paced gameplay I was looking for (also you can totally play it like a singleplayer game, especially if you are maxed out). I do enjoy matches where I carry the whole fucking match and at some rare occasions I have alone the combined score of the other nine players in my team … . Having fullstar weapons and soldiers does help in pulling stunts of like these.
What I really think is OP is a full four squad premade team even if it is just decent players.
But yeah whatever, this all has been said and discussed before
