Weapon normalization is a gaming disease

That’s a awful lot of snark coming from someone who doesn’t know what a caliber is, has no clue as to what an intermediate cartage actually is, and uses it as a catch-all term and considers the barrel diameter of a gun as all important completely neglecting the length of said barrel, the muzzle, if any on said barrel, and the rest of the capabilities of a bullet that will discharge including but not limiting to the mass, weight and powder charge of that round. All the while crying about realistic weapon rebalance.

And sorry for triggering you again with the word balance in your balance thread but you could spend at least five minutes thinking about said balance and how to improve it rather than whine and bark how anyone who doesn’t immediately applaud your vague and often completely wrong crap is mentally ill or should go play minecraft instead.

What’s worse I completely agree that it’s silly how almost all of the weapons of a category have identical damage. It’s just how to avoid making it worse by say enforcing card blanc massive changes without considering how it can completely backfire with certain weapons. Like giving FG42 bolt action damage. But it’s alright, just go play minecraft instead lul am I right?

My God. The caliber of some of the idiots in this place.

FG 42 is a rifle-caliber AR, not and intermediate one

Same caliber and almost same speed.
What’s wrong?

Most full-metal-jacketed AK-47 bullets do not deform significantly on striking the body, unless they strike bone. They characteristically travel point-forward until they penetrate 9 to 10 inches of tissue (if a bullet yaws, turning sideways during its tissue path, it causes increased disruption). This means that most AK-47 shots will pass through the body causing no greater damage than produced by handgun bullets.

There is no practical reason to use FMJ bullets in the 30 Carbine for anything other than putting holes in paper. Self-defense and hunting roles are best served by expanding ammunition.

My friend, listen. The M80 ammo he presented here is a modern ammo designed to separate your three letters from the rest of your body.

Listen buddy. Caliber is the diameter of the bullet.
Barrel and projectile diameter.
The cartridge consists of a bullet, a case, a rim and a primer.
And bullets are also divided like whole cartridges into pistol, rifle and intermediate.

And the FG42 fires the 7.92x57mm rifle round. The bullet has a diameter of 7.92mm. The shell is 57mm long.

Its FMJ just like 7.62x53 / 7.62x54 and 7.92x57 used in ww2

So I expect pretty much exact same results.

But sure, you can prove me wrong if you happen to have ww2 era surplus ammo somewhere.

I am sorry I liked a post with disrespectful words. It was not there when I liked, but I could not cancel my like now.

.303 British (7,7 × 56 mm R)
.30-06 US Service, 7,62×63mm Springfield

Then who use 7.62x53mm?

Dont expect these work any worse either but as said

Winland.

Winland, Canada used British ammunition.

99% of people would rather play a balanced game. Sorry pal, you’re out of luck

Well, I don’t know if 99% of players want balance. More people play Realistic in WT. Historical, where there is no balance, a lot of people play.
Such a WoT that is arcade has an outflow of players to WT because they are fed up with the arcade game.

It’s people who have no clue about war and weapons who want balance. Because this balance on the one hand is good. That’s true. But it’s the balance that brings the weapon meta into the game, not its doctrinal application.

WT Realistic has balance, tf are you talking about.

There’s a reason games like Arma and Squad aren’t mainstream

It’s not balanced. Between BR plus minus 1. This is often a gap, especially at higher ranks.
In addition, the country, the country is uneven and on some trees it is a chore to grind a line because on the same BR you are the worst machine in the battle.

The arcade mode is full of balance. In realistic battles, the balance is conventional.

Alright, this is a waste of my time, you’re just spouting nonsense now.

Have a good afternoon man

it was released 2010 ?

And yet people who want realism and butthurt somehow magically find theyr way in the most arcade game you can think of, enlisted.
And then bitch and whine for realism when theres by far better alternatives out there.
