If STG-45 is now BR4 and Mkb 42 (M) (event) is also BR4,
And if STG-44 is BR5,
Why is Mkb 42 (H) not BR4?
And even more so, why is Mkb 42 (W) (gold order, limited to 4 pcs) not BR4?
Are Mkb 42 (H) and Mkb 42 (W) so much better than STG-45 which has been a tier above them all this time, and closer to STG 44?
Pls make at the very least Mkb 42 (W) (gold order) BR4 to make it viable.

sorry for nitpicking, but the mkb42(W) is a BP gun while the mkb42(M) is the event gun which was added in the last New Year event.

How on Earth is STG 45 BR4 and Mkb 42 BR5 if it’s almost identical, if not a little worse?
This just reeks “premium undertiering bias”

StG45 is actually weaker than mkb42 mostly due the limited fire rate.
StG45 has 72 DPS
mkb42 both H and W has 80 DPS
Still that difference is not big enough to justify only the StG45 getting moved to BR4 especially since even Pps42 on BR has 77 DPS.
In fact all BR4 SMGs will beat Mkb42 in a fight not further than 30m
but Dark Gaijin in its eternal wisdom moved Király39M (and 43M) to BR4 instead, the only SMG which if had its historical range buff would have been BR5 worthy even next to ARs (reduce dispersion 0.50 since this gun had an effective range of 300m)

Depending on what display you take (if you take how the game displays 0.3 recoil control as 70%) this is true
but if you use mine this is false, since 0.3 recoil control means you have less recoil than 0.4

I would like to know your opinion. Is Horn StG worthy counterpart to AT-44?
And is its performance so much better than the StG45 that justifies it being one BR higher?
clearly not
But lowering the StG 45 is a start
Then afterwards depending on the overall reaction of players then the horn being lowered could be considered

We are seeing a lot of buffs, tweaks, and adjustments next patch.
But is the weird accuracy of ppsh41(box) will also be fixed one day, or devs just don’t want to? It still has semi auto rifle dispersion for no reason, unlike all other smgs…

Counterpoint is that PPsh-45 is going to BR4. Its a stat clone to Ppsh41… outside of being constrained to 4 max making it BR4 actually gives it a purpose - limited but not spammable strong SMG that helps in an uptier.
From that point of view I think Gold Order Mkb42 should also go BR4; its unplayable in BR5 (like the PPsh45 was pointless) and should see maximum amount of play in BR4, while being limited (being a GO).
IMO If anything should get a pass on transcending BR norms its BP weapons. Because it has a limit

GO weapons that are useless at theirBR, because TT variant is same/superior, should be considered moved a BR I think. I think both Ppsh45 and Mkb42 qualify.

It’s pretty much identical to PPD 40 (and def not a stat cloned ppsh-41) so the change make sense.

Re Mkb42W, beyond the 30rd clip it does nothing better than the BR4 Mkb42M
Have you actually used the PPSh 45 recently? The recoil or visual recoil or whatever feels significantly worse than the normal PPSh. Makes sense for it to be a BR lower. It’s not a case of “same gun, but paid” like you seem to think, the gun is definitely worse than the tech tree counterpart.
