Pps42 was still faster to hit someone 3 times with 690 rpm
than with Mp40 to hit someone 2 times with 570 rpm so I guess it only made a difference for Lanchester and Type 2a fights since both have 690 rpm

After this update i’m abandoning Germany BR2 unless you buff them by a ton, they are now the weakest country bar none at that BR. And i know you did it on purpose, to force people to buy premium MP18, PPS-43, MAS-38 and premium time to leave BR2 as fast as possible. What a shame that Germany is now just a paypig and punching bag country unless you play at BR5.

fair enough and absolutely understandable - I was just joking even though we all know how desperate I am trying to convince the world why I think body armor destroys a lot of game balance.
without body armor non of this would be an issue - PPS downs with 3 shots, MP40 downs with 2 shots, the faster rate of fire totally makes sense in this setting, its literally just body armor that messes with this dynamic.

They would still kill you faster as their dps is much higher than your MP40.

Apparently Gaijin thinks Sten 2 with almost the same stats as MP40 belongs to BR1 so it’s fine for BR2 players having overpowered guns and killing BR1 players all day long. You have Gaijin’s approval to remove all unwanted guests.

well yes, this bullets to kill counts only for close range, so PPS would actually get a range advantage over MP40 at medium range, but at medium to long range this evens out again.
PPS-43 may lose at mid-long range but pps-42 definitely not as it’s very accurate and has actually better stats than MP40

I think all of them are very very controllable and the recoil stats really dont matter, what should matter is that MP40 should have much better dispersion for its lower rate of fire, so that it actually was really more accurate, PPS42 and PPS43 is also kinda stupid, because apparently PPS42 has worse dispersion than PPS43 despite it shooting slower.

so far it has worse dispersion then PPS42 and PPS43 - not quite obrez levels, but still should be noticeable in theory

it gets a better HEAT tho, and if you check warthunder wiki, you’ll find out that “Hl.Gr 38C” has 115mm of penetration. That is actually pretty impressive.
