They don’t play their game otherwise they would leave it at BR2 as it has almost 1:1 stats to MP40. They should bring Charlton LMG to BR1 instead as it’s unusable with current performance.
Then buff it by a ton as it’s even worse than Chauchat

HEAT has a larger explosion radius than the normal HE at the cost of some fragmentation, which would make the shell a bit more consistant even.
It even can not fight with the old madsen.
indeed overall great changes, and alot of those were actually requested alot, but pls for the love of god, if Fedorov gets to one hit down now, cant you just at least give FG42 15 dmg so it will also one hit down?
Also Beretta 38/42 alone will not make German BR2 have a fair chance against PPS43 and body armor…

The HE is in effect way more effective against Infantry than HEAT.
And that was it’s intended role and should be aswell in-game.
I having mostly HE and a few rounds of HEAT should be the case of it.
HE for it’s intended primary role against Infantry and then having option to change to a few HEAT rounds to support attack on enemy Armor as secondary objective

How boring and pointless change, and limiting it’s abilities and options for the sake of what? just BS in my view
its the better HEAT C round, should have 100+ penetration, so it should actually be even dangerous to T34 85.
Obviously still not as powerful against tanks as Panzer IV H and J, but infantry support makes this still desirable
I want to give another inputs, but this time a little bit complicated and controversial ones.
- I think customizable ammo loadout is necessary, let players have freedom to creatively utilize their vehicles, then balancing them with Buff, Nerf, BR changes, or Historic technology advancement (eg. PZ 4 F1 with early HEAT but Panzer 3N could have the latest HEAT; M3 Medium, Early Sherman with inert AP but late Sherman, M6 Chaffee with APHE, etc)
- IF GER get proper tank destroyer as my comments before, KV-1 L11 can be moved to BR 2 & and KV-1 Zis 5 to BR 3. Maybe include Sherman 2/M4A1 to BR 2

this opinion might be unpopular but if it is true that BR III can’t meet BR V, it is not going to be bad for the Pz III N, on my experience (in WT at least) it can deal with most Shermans and T-34 from the front with the new HEAT. A change that might be worth to look into is to replace the APCBC with HE, so it has both HEAT and HE.

actually, I feel like its more like people like me who know of how broken Soviets are, but admit at the same time that they do lack in many regards as well…
alot of those changes are what I agree with, but I must also say that BR2 German SMGs cant compete, and G41, Armaguerra and FG42 gets stopped by body armor is still an issue that needs to be adressed.

I am happy that Japan gets some better planes in BR III now, what they had was just painful to use. Especially the D3A1 which barely lifts from the carrier, cant even chase bombers with that crap

It first need to waste two eternities on loading those clips and rounds before it could even take shot at their turtle soldiers. I hope Soviet soliders are nice enough to wait 4.8secs

All these BR changes are in relation to unspecified BR changes that we are yet to know.
Better late that never, some really nice changes here Im excited to see, The Pz3 N rebalance will have to be seen since idk if it needed its HE removed if its going to BR3, but the ammo count will be the important factor for it, also people with the legacy Pz3 N will be doing good. Still should be fine though, since the HEAT shell has more explosives than the HE, in theory it should be stronger.
But these all are really nice changes,

This seems a little strong maybe? I mean a TT BR2 Thompson is amazing, but I worry this is too strong
This also might be a bit strong as BR1 rifle, imo, this is second only to the lee enfield.
Regardless, honestly super happy to see this, it shows info has been passed back to the developers, I mean you left us out in the cold for a long while there, would have loved a bit of transparency on this, alas its here now and Im all for it.

this does not necessarily need to be the case - it will now one hit down true, but in the end its a weapon for assaulters, and those are technically limited compared to trooper SFR, so the idea itself isnt bad at all, all I wish for is that FG42 woulnd be treated like a cursed gun that needs two shots to down vs Soviet armor - it really should get a damage buff to match AVT and T20
it completely invalidates premium and gold order/event thompsons
What a short sighted change, but to be expected after they put p2w Thompson 7.63 on sale for BR2.
