I think so, as do absolutely most. You have to make the backpack and grenades look better to have a choice. How to do this without increasing the number of rounds of all rifles - I do not know.
The 25 rounds at kar are even worse. Bolt action rifles should have at least 40 rounds too. Getting in the top 5 is not a reason to be proud, usually the efficiency of players in 3-5 places is 4-6 times lower than mine.
Why are you purposely playing worse than you could?
It’s supposed to be a trade off. On some I carry extra ammo … on others I carry extra grenades … and on some extra health …

I don’t like it, but I think it’s fair considering the FG42 is a specialized rifle for para and is available to a wider group of soldiers than it’s counterparts.
They could, of course, bring in some parity in the other factions and also match ammo, like the BAR. But I am not sure that would match historically.
To be honest I think the FG availability doesn’t really match historically either. I think it was quite a bit more rare than it is portrayed in this game.

AVS also a rare rifle (about 50,000 pieces), and the jumbo was not in Normandy. Stop spamming this.
I don’t use back pack at the moment bc Im levelling the squads that I left behind.
But In general I don’t use backpacks bc i don’t feel I need them, and I prefer use the bronze order for leveling and unlocking my main weapons.
In my opinion, almost everyone takes more ammo and that’s it. The exception is soldiers with SMG.

Because:
a) I play for fun. So I stick meta into my ass and do whatever I like to have fun. That sounds worse than I intended 
b) I’m a noob so better weapon will result in maybe 5 kills more. Not enough to sacrifice fun.
So you are great player and want to get good gun buffed? Sry but no, I want to live for more than 10s.

It’s bad enough that you don’t see the point of taking a backpack. Judging by the people I see in the matches - almost everyone has the same situation.
My point is that everyone is different and I detest games with an absolute meta load out. I hope enlisted doesn’t come to that situation …

Okay, no problem. More ammo - then what you propose to sacrifice? Damage levels? Increase rof? Add more sway?
I think we understand that a weapon like FG that gets something good will be taken away something from the other side too.
And that has something to do with fg ammo count? No one said that fg is so op it allow anyone get 200 kills.
Looks like you desperately try find any(stupid) reason to justify buff to your favorite weapon.

I usually just switch soldier if I run out of ammo, and bc I play allied I need to push the point and usually you waste a lot of ammo trying to push the point and hold it alone (yes my team is always trash), but I have enough soldier with enough ammunition to complete the task.
My point is that normal players are uncomfortable playing with 40 rounds on ANY weapon. i can put ammo pouches on everyone, but i want to see some sense in the backpacks, which I don’t.
More ammo won’t make any difference. Has anything changed in terms of balance since fg had 20+80 rounds. No. I still kill, I just get annoyed by the amount of ammo now.
It was the same on gewehr and kar.
And that’s is how it’s should be you don’t need to do 50+ kill with one respawn
Why do you determine how much I can kill if the players can’t shoot? I die with one shot, just like everyone else.
For some people they think their way is the absolute best and only way … I don’t think enlisted is there yet …
I will say that classifying weaps like the FG and the M2 as rifles is getting closer to meta … But I still know some players that rather be authentic and run with Kar98 rather than everyone with FG.
I also know some that like to RP as a tank hunter so they like extra det packs.
And then there are those who have certain perks that pair very well with extra med kits.
So I dont see the meta yet
Bc if you are good as you say you don’t die as frequently as the average player.
I don’t like using the grand but I need to to remain competitive I like using the mk1 but I cant, this is not meta?.
