False. It increases size of fights.
Ppl will fight in the same or even less places, just in bigger numbers.
It will be just one big clusterfuck around the objective. Not “many fight zones”.
No. Your system creats grey zone camping.
Because in your system I can either zergrush or GZ camp. Those are the only options players have.
In “my” system you can do zergrush, you can flank or you can camp. Since map is big you aren’t limited to “the only right way to play the game”.
And with right map design you can get rid of GZ camp and leave only camp.
Then they will either learn build rallies or they will run.
If we design a game for idiots, don’t act surprised it’s full of idiots.
Also we can introduce alternative ways of spawning like:
- paratroopers (already here)
- APCs / cars
- spawnpoints near objectives (like in BF)
Also small maps will cause many current and future weapons/vehicles/mechanics to be next to useless. Like TDs, APCs, vehicles with open fighting compartment or maybe even engineers.
But I guess who cares as long as I can run and gun.
Good to see that old “my way of playing is the only right way” approach isn’t out of fasion.
