Dual Bofors or Triple Polsten gun for USA may be better.
For USSR, how about some dual 37mm from Navy?
I think giving Russia 4 Maxim guns ducktaped together isnt the same as a quad 20mm
See above
Nope RT
Sorry what do you mean?
SPAA like the Wirblewind should be added to the RT
Looks badass, mows down infantry spectacularly, but sucks against aircraft. You could have suggested at least a triple or quadruple DShK or remembered something larger.
Oh
Jets? Really? Jesus Christ, man! Maxim against the jets? No. Just no. No way.
Do you mean TT as tech tree? Yes it could like in War Thunder but the reality is only about ~105 of them was officially produced and imagine 105 wirbelwinds in the whole ww2 Europe then it is certainly a rare vehicle. Better candidate for TT would be Sdkfz 7/1 which had higher production numbers of ~800 and it is basically the same thing just different chassis, instead of panzer you get it on sdkfz 7 the quad 20.

Or more protected version which would make sense to put in Enlisted where there is infantry attack so the SPAA crew would be protected atleast from the front and partially from sides.
Well it seems you didn’t bother to read it all sir.
Oh yes.
Will four 7.62 machine guns do it? It’s a cool thing, but against jets it’s just ridiculous.
Seems you are right. Now I have reread everything carefully, but I still don’t understand why Maxim should improve the situation with reagents.
The reason i suggested maxim quad is because soviets didn’t really have any multi-cannon AA as far as i know during ww2, except the naval such as 46K 37mm quad.

So that’s why better suggestions are welcomed.
At least DShK.
It would also be cool to have an upgrade branch with different engineering buildings. To have the ability to choose the machine guns and cannons you’re interested in.
Well except the naval version they don’t have much of a choices except single cannon AA, and maxim is even used today in ukraine war because as long as it has bullets and water it can in theory shoot forever, it was reliable and having x4 7.62mm of each 857 RPM is better than nothing of course…
they earliest multi-cannon spaa they had was as far as i remember ZSU 57 (x2 57mm) and Shilka but those are from almost late 1950s…
And yes german did that with double mg42 quad mg42 also putting them on fight cars.
This is interesting suggestion, i have seen double barrel T-60 but this one i didn’t see yet, what’s the ammo count on these btw? Because almost always any DSHK has only 50 bullets per magazine, if these quad DSHK have 50 only then they certainly almost constantly reloading if that’s the case…but i guess in enlisted we can forget about that, when you build MG team DSHK that thing has sleeping 8 of bullets and shoots till overheat.
I tried to search about the magazine capacity now, but I couldn’t find anything yet. Except for one more photo.
its about damn time to introduce strong AAs.
theyre cool, HA, fun & absolutely needed being the only vehicle-related thing that doesnt scale in the game: tanks get stronger with each BR, planes get stronger, AT guns get stronger… ONLY AAs stay the bums that they are after multiple nerfs.
originally i expect the smart move from gaijin to make the update after the jet release about AAs, introducing BR-scaling AAs & SPAAs as new vehicles. but instead we got a half baked update without any new mechanics whatsoever (the jet update was also half baked as it didnt contain a new map the jets being called a new mechanic is quite the stretch as theyre just new, stronger vehicles).
next update better bring more fun & HA to the game with new AAs, SPAAs & TD re-tiering.
EDIT: just noticed that engis are very underpowered on high BR as theyre stuff is weak, slow & they get constantly sweatrushed by riflemen stacks/bombed by too fast jets.
giving them strong AAs could make them keep up, especially if these also work well against infantry/apcs etc.
88flaks against bomber formations would be very fun. parallel to that the bomber raids could get a buff on high BR too by adding 2 more planes, as they are very weak overall and more free experience is always welcome in gaijin games.
So i did a quick research using google translate in russian and they said this,
which means
The ammunition of a quadruple DShK machine gun is usually represented by a cartridge belt of 50 rounds of 12.7x108 mm caliber. Four DShK machine guns, combined into a quadruple mount, will have ammunition that is a multiple of the number of rounds in the belt, multiplied by four. That is, if one machine gun has a belt of 50 rounds, then the quadruple mount will have 200 rounds.
But like i said they could make them infinite with overheat only like with MG build DSHK.
The number of cartridges in the triple remains a mystery.
Hell yeah Para Div but it seems to me that DF under gaijin has few employees perhaps, because they are so slow regarding fixing bugs and addressing our suggestions… We will have to be patient for now and try to wait it out.
I am also have watched your YouTube videos and i like it good thing to have you here bro.
