On the off chance that we one day get Russia vs Japan, considering there was fighting on the Sakhalin islands, it’d be nice to get a squad or two of VFC members. Like the Volkssturm, it was unmarried men and women ages 15(17 for women)-60(40 for women) who were equipped with either last ditch, late war production, or obsolete weapons that were already in the country, such as Murata rifles, Tanegashima, Type 30s, or bladed weapons like katanas, naginatas, axes, etc. It’d be a nice little bit of flavor to add to the game.
(I don’t know why all the photos of the VFC are of women, presumably because it’d be difficult to tell the difference between men training for the army or VFC specifically)
