Meanwhile I aimed, everything was marked as green and it took one round to nuke the Panther. So I suppose the problem might not be in the tanks themselfs.
IF the turret was angled (I don’t think it was because the Panther was shooting at you) just shoot at the cheeks. It will always be green.

No point, I guess im imagining things or hallucinating…thnx for screens. The only green thing was the damn cupola when I was aiming and thats it. Though I didnt try those little side cheeks.
is my opinion invalid? because if an M10 with a 76mm gun can do it but a t34-85 with an 85mm gun can’t do? your video game ability is invalid if you can’t eliminate a panther with an 85mm gun
Shoot through the MG port on the right side of the tank (left when looking at it) my Panther had died many times to a shell placed there.
I also got nuked twice in the Tiger. Once to the DT5 , no idea where he hit me but it killed me, and once to a Panzerfaust 60, which unlocks really early in Berlin.
Yes, getting better equipment helps a bit, but the Soviets are the king of cqc in berlin. My suggest is record what you do when you play and watch it back. See where the enemy team is and what it does. Situational awareness trumps equipment , every. Single. Time.
I am maxed Axis in Berlin and I still use VG2s and Kar98ks. Its not the gun that wins it for me, its getting into a position to use it to its strengths.
There are premium items in this game that you can buy, but they all die just the same, to a bullet, a tank shell…grenade…
Patience is all I can suggest, and maybe watching how some of us play.
First thing I did when I started playing here was watch other players to learn the maps, tactics.
The gun on the tank he was using is worse than the 85 lmfao

As for panthers, t-34 is pretty much capable of dealing with them from the front as well, so I don´t see it being an issue in Berlin. The only problem (related to all campaigns) is having the very possibility to spawncamp in the first place.
