Using Presets doesn't include fully maxed weapons

So I set up a preset for lets say “Engineers T5 AVT-40s” I have 15 fully maxed AVT-40s with others that are not fully maxed.
When i use this preset for setting up a full engineer squad, the preset does not select the fully maxed weapon, but instead one with either 1 or 2 less stars. It’s annoying, because i have to go back and individually select fully maxed weapons for each soldier, which defeats the entire purpose of presets…
