The Engineer Bulletins usually have drawings and sketches of things Engineers will be facing in the field. The devs can easily use these as a guide for map creation, etc. These are Japanese fortifications drawn in detail:

Oh man one of the heavy concrete pillboxes has a description of a steel plate that can close the windows of the pillbox. That’d be so nice to have just to give yourself better cover inside the fortification. Say you see someone cooking a nade or notice a tank swinging its turret towards you, and you just close er up and you’re good till you wanna open it back up and start shooting again
Plus the MASSIVE trolling someone on the outside could do by constantly closing the hatch just to mess with whoever is inside trying to shoot at enemies
