US Independence Day

Bro, give us the half-track! How hard is it? You can’t just make up a pretty artwork and give us only a shitty stinger. (I hate the way it sounds and I refuse to use it, ugh, it’s the recicled sound of the MG 34 and it sounds so out of place)

Give us an event half-track now!

friendly reminder that the Stinger has never been OP - but instead incorrectly implemented - the belt box the Stinger is using can only hold 100 rounds - not 200.

for reference, this is what a 250 round box looks like:
Box_013

this is the well known standard ammo box for 30 cal, which is too heavy to be used on the move, but rather is often seen on 30 cal MGs mounted on vehicles. The Stinger clearly uses a smaller belt can, which only fits 100 rounds.

Yeah but you forget US have something called ‘’‘plot armor’’ like the Soviets so for the Russians are magical armor plates for US is magical mags that hold more bullets then they should like the M50 Reising

i dont like this logic, because once you bring it up you will find out that STG only had 500 RPM as well.

or in other words - we should have fair HA stats on all guns - not just for those we are comfortable with.

yeah but the bad guys cant have plot armor how the good guys will win ? :sunglasses: :us:

And Fedorov would have 350-400rpm with Chauchat recoil and AS-44 would be removed from a TT.

Kinda disappointing to be honest, the half-track would’ve been better, and also when are you guys gonna decrease its ammo capacity to 100 like in real life cause despite it being fun, it feels overpowered.

Why would an event on U.S. Independence Day, if there is a much better reason for an event in the form of a landing in Sicily, could give one Stinger and something Italian. After all, the game is about the Second World War, it is logical to use the dates of military operations. Or the Battle of the Solomon Islands, or the beginning of the Sino-Japanese War, at least give something to the Japanese. Then give me a Bastille Day event, why not? Or an event to liberate Moscow from the Poles? It’s just that what’s the point of doing all this in a WWII game? What does the 18th century have to do with WWII?

I wonder what japs have then?
(I assume germans have the mighty indestructible king tiger that is defeated by a 0.5kg brick of TNT.)

OH YESSSSSSS :fire:

when a stinger counter to germans something like a pocket mg131 (just saying im not sure if a soldier could even handle one of these)

Congratulations, you guys are TOP!!
More please after this event prepare another one PLEASE WE WANT MORE WEAPONS and VEHICLES

USSR gets TWO (2) M3 Halftracks during WW2 – premium squad.

USA produces more than 12 000 M3 Halftracks during WW2 – nothing.

US squad - tech tree

British lend lease squad - event

Fair’s fair. Western Allies get more of them, because they had more, I think this makes sense.

That, or a way to toggle between squad nationality, I suppose…

Lack of motivation too

Only ever used by the Soviets AFAIK - the UK got a couple of hundred but took the gun off to revert them to plain M3A1’s - USA never had any in service.

that’s good enough as an exscuse :ok_hand:

as far as i recall, neither were half of the GO weapons, or hyde 44s for example. hell, not even the latest anti tank airplane ( the XA-38 grizzly, only 2 built, yet can be obtained as an event vehicle ).

so again, not an issue there either.
and as an event vehicle, that’s the best candiate.

might be considered laziness, or " copy paste " but i would like a premium version for ussr too.
you can never have enough halftracks :smirk:
