No it couldn’t! The Soviets were worse than Germany in every way, they just had pps which couldn’t win.
And as I said before after the update I’m in favor of a new SMG for Germany or a buff to the previous SMGs.

I recently picked up the AT44, it quickly became my favorite Soviet weapon! SMGs are bad at long range, but assault rifles are always good!

Good thing that’s just got buffed. And is 2nd best AR in the game. Poor Soviets what they could do without buffs every patch? While Horn STG is still crap.
I think moving it to BR4 is much better, it gives the German faction more variety.
Although unfortunately I don’t have one of them, their clothes are very beautiful, I hope I can get it later.
They don’t have much choice but to put it at BR4 but BR4 is already overstacked with event squads.
true. although it was best anti infantry tank with ok AT capability.
best MG that almost nobody used
again non meta. BR2 semi autos are trash, so even if it was king of trash, it was still trash.
smg are meta and are important, so:
- m1918 is trash. try using it and you will see why everyone doesnt want to use it.
- beretta m1 is comparable to mp40 and it is matter of preference between one or the other. mp40 has lower recoil and faster reload, while m1 has bigger magazine.
- when compared to US they are slightly behind. lanchester is better than both of them cause of ROF while having worse recoil and recoil direction.
- when compared to soviets they are way behind cause pps42 is giving performance of lanchester without any drawbacks(better ROF, recoil, ~same recoil direction). pps43 is upgrade/sidegrade depending on how well you can control recoil. also there is body armor so german need 1 more bullet than usual to kill.

are you sure? look at br2.
They are vastly behind as they have now Thompson which is easy to control at close-mid range. Only issue are muzzle velocity but then you can use Lanchester as secondary.
i was talking for before this update cause that was the point of his post.
These are my favorite weapons, although they are hard to aim with.
Don’t keep saying this, 90% of players don’t have them.
I have too many legacy premiums and four of them are BR4 Germany. Add event squads and you can have entire lineup made out of them. For f2p players it may not be the issue. But anyway Horn STG + Mkb42 need to go down in BR.
and 90% of players arent a problem cause they suck so weapon balance is irrelevant for them.

Well, we were talking about event squads, not premiums.
3 Br 2 event squad vs 1 BR 4? (for germany)
Not counting the squad that could be in all.
So I don’t think moving horn stg to BR4 will cause any problems.
Never mind I gave a BR 1 squad a Br 2 weapon so only 2 BR 2 squads vs 1 BR 4 squad.
