What do you mean? The gun is very good. But otherwise it stil open topped tank with sloe turret traverse speed.
But I wouldn’t call it bad.

I like it because I’m a TeaBoo. But Pershing and Firefly will remain much better choices for those wanting to min max.

Yeah. Naturally. But in that case you could say all germans BR 4/5 tanks aren’t good in comparison to tiger 2h.
Of course, I wouldn’t pay AAA money for it though. It’s not my money, do what y’all want.
Well not quite… Panther remains such a solid choice.
It’s just that the Achilles, is a TD. And all TDs are uptiered in Enlisted… Achilles is slow, has horrible turret traverse speed, open top, no coaxial lmg (only one on top, endangering commander when used) and gun, even if great pen, does meh post pen damages.
But it’s Commonwealth and pretty so I love it anyway!
very curious, can you use bino’s and weapons in the Ersatz out of the hatch? I’m leaning towards a no, but I have hope.
Idk, from what I have tried, achilles felt pretty solid.
The “usa” panther uses a periscope, but I haven’t tried binocs and personal weapons 
It’s normal hatch with commander, so there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be able to.
When you have time. Please do check. This is important for me lol. For the Ersatz of course.

We can’t check it anymore. Test server is no longer accessible. You have to wait until update.
But I am like 90% percent sure ersatz can use bino and personal weapons.

Thanks buddy. Sounds odd they would let the Ersatz use it while the Achilles can’t, I imagine the Achilles is a speedy boi to make up for its lack of bino and PDW use. When they make BR’s more balanced, the Ersatz paired with the other Panthers will be very strong and very fun to play. Panthers are excellent tanks, but just don’t compare to 88’s when you have them, and this BR system. I also saw in TITAH’s video the Ersatz retains the two MGs when out of the hatch and when using the Periscope? Very nice, as I was worried about that. The periscope I saw seemed to have a very good wide range of view and it seemed he was also able to zoom. Thanks for the info man. Looking forward to playing the “war criminal” lol.
I assume it’s more of technical issue. Open top vehicles just can’t use personal weapons.
Never made it to the end lol. Thanks again. Really cool it has PDW’s and Bino’s. This was the make or break for me. Cant wait to try this beast out.

I know and i dont understand why, if any vehicle should have access to PDW’s it should be Open hatch vehicles. To be honest TD’s should most certainly, if not more so, have access to PDW’s and Bino’s. I don’t know why they restricted that to only Armor. I think it should be universal to all ground vehicles.
