Call sign and appearance orders should be removed from the chests.
They are useless.
Or at the very least they should become sellable for silver.
Also XP boosters need to be delayable, not activated as one single 9999% boost at once.

There is one bigger change:
Previously vehicle decals, vehicle decorators, nickname decorators and portraits were in the same category (5%). That meant that getting a permanent unlock (nickname decorator or portrait) had a really low chance in the end, because there were ~18 vehicle decals and decors in that category and you could get duplicates of those.
Now, the vehicle decals and decorators (2,5%) are separated from nickname decorators and portraits (2,5%), so you’ll have better chance getting a permanent unlock when you are only missing a few.
F.e. I was missing 5 portaris when the Silver Chest was introduced.
In the old Silver Chest, to get the last 5 portraits you needed to roll 5% for the category and roll 12,5% chance again for one of the 5 portraits … so you had ~0,6% chance per Silver Chest to get one of the missing ones.
In the new Silver Chest, the permanent unlocks are separated and now have a 2,5% fixed chance. So in the end, you’ll have a much higher chance to get a permanent unlock.

I see it as untranferable currencies for the time being just to comfort myself that I’m not broke 
I agree. Appreance cards are really useful because 90% of the standard uniforms are mismatched or look ugly. You also need a lot of them but there is no proper way of getting them in large quantities. Name orders arent completely useless either but you definitely dont need 200 of them. They should just combine these two so it is more simple and easy to manage
The reason they made it that way, to make players crave for appearance cards and looking forward to the events.
I wish I could send you my 2383 appearance orders because Enlisted customization is so bad and the uniforms are so generic and lacking any insignia, tabs or variation that I simply don’t care to change “grey tunic with shovel” to “grey tunic with ammo pouches from a random weapon”.
I think I’ve only used them to remove Volkssturm armbands from the guerillas squad everywhere outside Berlin (and later DF did that the default for free lmao)
But that’s a good thing, isn’t it?
The fewer cringe Mad Max Führer Road we see on the battlefield, the better.
