Recently I observed an unused grey-shirt Volkssturm uniform in Berlin when moving soldiers between squads. It can be seen by selecting almost any soldier located in the reserve. It is not located anywhere else on any other squad in Berlin. As it is already in the game, it seems it would be a great waste to not move it into the selection of possible blouses that can appear on the Volkssturm Rifleman 1 squad (2nd Volkssturm Company). That, or otherwise incorporated into the available clothing customization for Berlin.
Berlin should definitely get more customization options, especially Volksturm-related, aka civilian clothing as it’d definitely make the campaign even more unique (perhaps it should also be locked to Volksturm squads?):
I agree and just a little note if anyones wondering that gold fany pack shapeed thing on the guy on the right is called im pretty shure a field gemenery and its designed to say the wearer is an MP aka military policeman
my favorite part of berlin is larping as volksturm with abunch of random equipment (i kid you not i still have a guy with a 3 star kriegsmodell), and weird things like assaulter 1s having secondary shotguns yet somehow keeping up with soviet players in raw kills.
That’s a big difference between axis and soviets. Axis players got to learn to play using inferior stuff. So by the time they are high lvl, with more powerful stuff, they “practiced” more and are generally more competent than their Soviet counterparts.
I see that often in Moscow. Playerbase seems a bit less competent as allies. Less rp, more sniping, more running in the middle… now facing vets with mkb, even thought Soviets got their own (better) versions of weaponry, they struggle…
It’s like in real life. Someone too pampered will struggle later in life, while someone who learned how to fish early will do better.
Yeah but on the Berlin aspect i think id like some inner Reichstag maps where at the End of a macth if the soviets win in invasion mode they fly the red banner on the rooflike in the photo
I get that felling in Moscow and berlin, even sometimes in Normandy. with one side seeming to struggle. In Moscow its the allies , and in berlin and Normandy, its the Axis, its creepily similar to history in the sence one sides doing better then the other at the time during the war and continent the campaign takes place.
I dont think they do necessarily, just i feel like my win ratio is higher in specific sides of a campiagn , propbably just a personal thihg of judging via win rates
