You point and hold M1, that is how you use flamethrowers, that is not skill, that is just basic movement to look at something and hold down a button

W + M1 going hard these days.
Flamethrowers do not deserve a nerf.
But - developers had must add paratroopers with flamethrowers to please Axis players.
Now they figured out that this was unbalanced so now all flametroopers are getting punished.
If they’re not gonna straight up remove flamers, nerfing them’s the next best thing. I watch people bitch about German tanks, and western planes, and automatics, and that shit’s all a problem sometimes, but the flamers are only ever fun for the one bastard spamming them.

Yes, but guys with tanks on their backs are always targetted at first place, so playing a flametrooper requires a skill to even get close to the objective.
With flametrooper-paratroopers it requires absolutely nothing.

You make a good point, I forgot about considering the basic skill of walking forward 
So if you don´t play flametrooper you don´t try to get to the objective without getting killed? You could also just scout ahead with a rifleman or something and hide your squad behind corners until you´re at the objective. Depending on map it´s really not that hard.

No no no, you don’t understand. Bullet hose and flame hose is not the same thing when it comes to skill.

They also need to work on the illumination in door, in some of the map when someone using flame thower inside a building, no body could see anything
So can we have Italian Folgore Paratroopers lowered to BR III where they belong (if not II), now?

Another reason to love DF and making the Italian paratroopers redundant with their main gimmick is a flame thrower
