JUST TO MAKE WARNING THE TYPE KO IN GAME IS NOT A NORMAL RIFLE AND YES A CARBINE VERSION theres 4 variants of type ko but i will only talk about the two ones
the type ko rifle , but as you can see it have long barrel and some different part details, but it will do maybe more damage than the carbine variant and better recoil i think
a sniper variant
i think the scope is same from type 99 sniper rifle too

basically its a reproduction of how it would look,its a dude who pay for recreate anime and historical weapons, about kö rifle with sniper scope it exists documents but I never see one about it, same goes for hei,otsu and similar weapons who have a clear spot for put a scope, so its possible documents are destroyed for them but weapon have the evidemce about they have a test planned about scope, also when I am at home I share the web from where that photo comes; edit: done web and here a post kö rifle and other stuff: All versions of Type Ko, Type Hei, Type Otsu rifles @VoyoMayPL
