Can it at least pen the side of every Sherman variants?

It definitely could before the GL nerf with a simple shot on the side (i even managed to destroy a couple of Jumbos like that) but i’m not so sure if it’s still the case.

I think it’s bugged and not penning anything at the moment unfortunately. Assuming it gets fixed though, front armour of shermans you are unlikely to penetrate as it sounds like you already know, but if you go for side armour you can quite easily penetrate it, and aim near the ammo racks for better chance of a one shot.on the M4A2 variants though, the β€œboxes” on the side seem too thick to penetrate, so just go for center mass.
