Panzerfaust have 2 problems:
-
Barrel is too thick. It looks awful. (second pic)

While shooting thru windows it’s to easy to kill yourself. Nothing tells us if something is in front of this huge warhead. There shout be something like small icon that tells us if shot is safe. In real life we woud know that.
I made small comics to show you what i mean.

that should apply to all weapons, really. My 20-foot-long PTRD compresses to 3 inches because I moved slightly closer to an edge, so I waste a shot when it hits said edge.

Maybe something like the green indicator that shows up when aiming for the tank with any cannon.
That would be good enough i think.
Or, even better, just have the shot actually come out the tip of the barrel and have hit detection not suck xd
Wait, is it not from the tip?
If you poke your barrel through someone, you still kill them.
The shot comes from the breach.
The issue is that the views are inconsistent.
If someone is looking at you in 3rd person, your barrel is clipping through an object. But in first person, the end of the barrel is still between you and that object. It’s like the weapon and your hands shrink from your perspective.
This isn’t unique to Enlisted either, it’s common in FPSes.
Yeah we all know that problem, ur right.
It could be mixed up, first checks if there’s a hit/kill from the breech, and then if not, it actually goes from the tip.
it should always be from the breech; if it came through the tip it would allow players to glitch their way into shooting without exposing themselves.
Shit, thats also a good point.
I guess the indicator for potential hit then.
Hello Devs,
Working through the Fall of Berlin campaign, I’ve been having a look at scaling of different weapons and equipment on the models, and I came across what I think is a scaling issue. With a bit of search I found this thread clearly going back to when Berlin was still being close beta tested.
Rather than start a fresh thread, I thought I’d bump this one and having a look at the PzFaust on a model of my 3rd Volksturm Company the issue of the oversized launch tube for the projectile remains outstanding.
Thank you.
