Both weapons (Carcano Mod. 38 and Armaguerra Mod. 39) had been designed for the same caliber (the more deadly 7.35x51mm). When the war startet, italy was not able to successfully mass-produce this larger caliber, so they reverted the ammunition production back to the weaker 6.5x52mm. In Enlisted you take the stronger 7.35x51mm for the Carano Mod. 38 but the Armaguerra Mod. 39 has to use the weaker 6.5x52mm caliber. This doesn`t make sense…
