But the reason is because theres significantly more console players than PC players. Console players are also at a disadvantage since they use controllers, so it makes more sense to give the option to the players who are at disadvantage than the ones at an advantage. Everyone is grossly overexaggerating how bad console players are lmao.

Yes, that is the standard in crossplay games. Its hard to balance console vs PC, so giving the option is the standard thing to do. Few players actually do disable crossplay though, because Enlisted is not a difficult game to play on Console and do just fine.
i would be suprised if more than 40% of the"standard" console player base have the cross play enabled.

From what I’ve been told from Console players, queuing without crossplay is a total ghost town, which would make sense given how many console players are filling normal lobbies
I have every third Game a full 10vs 10 Lobby the others are like, me vs 5 at least.
Its a Fail-information that we have always Ghosttown. But it is Possible and Enjoyable.
Developers could add Mouse and Keyboard like every other GameStudio do. But no, we must bring all Orders inGame on 12 Buttons.
Crossplay should have never seen the Sun, i play this Console because of my Reasons. If i want to play Xbox , i play Xbox. If i want play PlayStation i play it. But PC is another World, the Ability to play Console feat. PC is more Rare.

Do we actually have stats? I see between 2 and 5 console players per game but 6+ players without a console icon next to their name. All bots?

Did devs add option to turn crossplay off in console versions? If console players can choose to be farmed or not, why PC players cant choose if they want extra burden in their teams or not

Unironically, YES. Console probably makes up more than 75% of the playerbase. No one wonders why the developers originally said they didnt want to launch on old generation consoles and then 180’d and launched on them anyway? PC doesnt have a playerbase.

Now, I do agree that PC players should have that option. If one side has it the other side should have it.
I’m not that fond of console players but at the end of the day I would prefer them over bots cause there is always a chance of meeting decent console players and the possibility of getting better for those who suck at the moment. Getting decent AI for bots? Yeaaah, dream on…

If this is true it’s quite sad tbh. Console players, based on my experience, are usually dumber than their PC counterparts. It kinda also means that advertisement for PC fellas is shit, not that DF advertisement is any good though for any platform. Makes you wonder how many players stay with the game… Any info on that?

Not really. I’ve done polls on youtube but thats not really super hard data
Lots of level 11-20’s and a steep drop off after, which coincides with where the grind gets heavy
Can we have actual numbers of active players on both PC and console? Or at least a percentage? Cuz “my friend said so” is a bit thin as an argument

they could have made so many dev decisions to have playerbase unified, but with every campaign they are just dividing it further and further.
