USA was not 100% equiped with Garands, the majority of the troopers fighting in Africa where equiped with the Springfield but the Garand was there in significant numbers. It was halfway 1944 during the Italy campaign that the army was fully equiped with the Garand.
Ofc not. But as you stated the gun saw service there.
Alied side on current campaign goes with british and us soldiers. So I don’t mind having garands to play with.
How we equip them on our soldiers lays on our decisions.
Some want to go historical, others (me for example) don’t mind having a British soldier running around with one.
Ontopic: no, both weapons saw service there, both shall stay and be used in-game. There are countless other options to add on the campaign levels. Hopefully we will see more and more content as the game progresses.

I agree fully it should be there and people choose what to use.
I use a combo of Garand and Lee enfield in Normandy as well, will most likely be the same in Tunesia.

Yep they should. We will see how it will be, this is first campaign that has multiple nations, we dont know how will it work now.

I find that i can’t aim for shit with Semi-Autos, All my british Squads will have LE’s and all the US squads will have M1 Carb’s and M1 Garands.
Same with my Moscow and Berlin Squads.
A handful of SA’s and then bolties for the rest.
