Developers don’t need an event to see how popular each faction is. 
We don’t doubt many will, but there’s lots of evidence to show that players will actually pick which is the “coolest” for them, based on what they play as, etc, even if it’s “worse” (to be honest, kind of me too). Not everyone plays to min-max every event reward!

The workload has hit a new high, almost increased by 50%? Come on, we are not employees of DF, you are.
I will be honest, I am not very happy with this, feels a “filler”
If the store hadn’t closed down and things hadn’t gone as badly as they did, and if you consider how the events have been going and how Germany and Japan have been set back, I would say this is actually a good thing.
And I also just realized something you screwed over the people who kept tickets for no reason And now you bring them back.

That’s good, but just one weapon is not enough, put that gun away and let me choose a second weapon.

There is not a single new thing in this event. You can easily ignore it if you want.
However, I bet a lot of people appreciate these minor events (myself included).
So what’s your problem?

Well that’s a pity then because it usually ends up being those players who end up carrying their entire team
If they are now going to spam these little events ± every week, I don’t see a problem with it.

The only problem I have with this (other than gold orders should have remained but we all went on about this) is I don’t know what to choose… I like all of those…

you could have still given us maybe 3 orders, if people only play 1 faction, great they can buy three guns for that faction, if they play multiple factions, then they get to choose multiple rewards

I already have all the Thompsons for Japan that I want/need (Explenation: in BR-II I give them to my premium APC squad, they’re very good at close range but not much else, so I only need the three for that squad, other assaulters get something more wieldy).

MP 35 seems the most likely of the bunch, then my premium APC squad for the Germans can get similar rare event weapons. I’ve found it to essentially be like the MP 40, but better in every single regard (maybe it has a bit more kick to it, I rarely used the two I already have).

The Besal might at first seem like the most likely choice for this anglofile, but really the gun doesn’t interest me. I already have all the selection I need from the Brens, it doesn’t do anything perticularly unique, it never saw combat and I’m a generous commander who don’t want to give scrap weapons to my battered Tommies. If I pick it up, it would be not to use it but as a curiosity, and that feels like a waste of a ticket.

I don’t play the Soviets, so the PDM-42 isn’t even considered.
So, in short, probably a MP 35, though the selection could have been… bigger or more interesting…

At this point they should probably just turn it into a poster because everything for Germany is curse for whatever reason and at least a poster we can put it everywhere.
