After reading some other posts I should be alright posting this here. I have never posted anything on this forum before this is my first time. I wanted to get some feedback on my tiger 131 build. Unfortunately doing these type of historical builds cost money. (Yes I’m kinda crazy for spending money on cosmetics) But maybe you guys could help me with tips on what I did good or bad. I want to try to make it as accurate as the original. I used the tiger H1, the original tiger 131 is the H1 version not the tiger E version. For camouflage I used the Bicolor desert camouflage. It’s impossible with the current como selection to get it 100% accurate but you can come close. If you look at the original it’s a green/grey pattern on a tan yellow/brown color. Bicolor desert is the closest from what I could see. The tan color is a little lighter then the original and the green is more dark then a green/grey but to recreate the camo pattern design. Bicolor desert camouflage seems to be the best. However with the recent update we can now modify camo patterns. I think with this new update Bicolor summer camouflage or Bicolor summer camouflage (Spots) might be a more accurate look, if I could get the right rotation number and scale number down. You could also argue not applying a camo at all and leaving it the stock tan yellow/brown color is accurate too. However, I have read that some historians say when tiger 131 first left the factory in 1943 it originally was painted with a tan/dark green color like the Bicolor desert camouflage I have applied. I have also seen models of 131 with that exact paint job. So I’m not sure if that’s true or not just what I read online. I added red 131 numbers on the back of the turret like the original. I also added just a 1 on the side as the spare tracks are blocking the sides. Thankfully the tracks cover the sides or I couldn’t do this 131 build with only 4 decal sections. On the original, the numbers 131 appears to be a tad bit smaller then the sized I used. However, if I shorten it from the size I used in game in my opinion it would be too small. I think the size I used is the most accurate you could achieve in game but if I’m wrong let me know and I’ll correct the size. Lastly I wanted to add foliage to give it that Fury look. In Fury in the tiger scene you see foliage on the sides, top of the turret and on the bottom next to the driver glass. I decided to put the foliage on top of the turret near the gunner glass and at the bottom near the driver glass. Sorry this long.
Yes, I don’t disagree with you on that, honestly if they came out with a premium tiger H1 squad and copied 131 from either fury or the tank museum (basically without foliage) id buy it.
as it goes to the OP’s tiger,
well, it’s unfortunately that is never going to be a 1-1 ( due to many restrictions )
but very close enough to the original
I’m not sure why enlisted doesn’t add the iron cross on all there tec tree vehicles (I understand they added the iron cross on some premium vehicles/battle pass). Germany still uses the iron cross so therefore nobody can claim it being offensive.
All German tank in Tunisia campaign should look like this anyway, have desert camo and Afrika Korps decal, random turret number or at least free player set number as well as have the balkenkreuz.
This is literally not worth a BP, just a cheap and shameless filler.
How did you get the victory mark to only show 1 iron cross? I tried doing that and couldn’t figure out how to hide the others. Also enlisted needs to fix the bug that gets rid of decals when applying a camo to premium or bp vehicles. They said in the update the decals will now be present when charging a camo on vehicles. But in typical enlisted fashion it takes an update to actually make the original update working.
Ok that makes sense, so the tank tracks on the turret conceal the others? like it’s not visible on the outside you’d basically have to noclip through the tracks to see it?
I wish we got something better like PZ IV F2 “215” which would have been better than this also hate that they censored the DAK insignia like why do we have harmonizing mode if both of them are censoring stuff just to different degree.
Anyhow here PZ IV F2 “215”
Notice that Under 215 as far as I can tell is the number 411 which I assume this tank was transferred from somewhere else to North Africa(Or from another unit in North Africa) and designation for it was
changed , here another picture of 215 which looks way cooler
here is colorized version
and here is bunch of models of the tank
