Take it easy bro, he likes to spit fire, but he’s actually quite chill, don’t give him fuel, or he’ll keep on mocking you.
You are forgetting that;
People want a BR3 lineup
People want a BR5 lineup
People need many more soldiers / secondary equipment because the lineup preset DOES NOT WORK like it should (only swaps squads, not soldiers/gear inside them)
So unless every day you sit down and click spam to fix squads for 15 minutes swapping br3 > br5 or vice versa, you need like 72 soldiers + secondary gear + 36 br5 weps, 36 br3 weps INSTEAD of just the weapons (no matter the preset system the weps are needed)
So what I’m telling you is that I don’t think it should be easy at all for anyone to build a squad roster with only max BR5 weapons. Yes, I think it should cost “hundreds of thousands of silver” for you to get 36 maxed BR5 weapons. I’m going to suggest you put a few BR5 weapons in the hands of your specialists and use lower tier weapons for the bulk of your roster; then, upgrade as you acquire the silver.
I have maxed millions when everything is totaled up but I play like a god so even that is making argument on my side that average person is skrewed.
What I’m typing is that the cost is unreasonable for many BECAUSE of the preset system for example. If you only had to buy 1 10k silver soldier, max it and buy 1 set of 6k gear and their 12k BR5 weapon the situation would be better. But no, you need multiple soldier and sets which means that getting your BR5 item is only the beginning for many.
That and buying weapons you don’t want for tech tree
Buying vehicles that you don’t want for tech tree
etc
8000? Hell no
That number was arrived at simply by doubling the number before it. So, in the example,
1:500
2:1000
3:2000
4:4000
5:8000
You could go
1:500
2:1000
3:2000
4:4000
5:5000
The basic point I was trying to get at is that I think Tier 3 should be cheaper than it currently is and Tier 5 should be more expensive than it currently is.
No Tier 5 shouldn’t be more expensive than before Merge, specially your gain from match is still the same from Before merge, that’s the Damn point of this shitty economy inflation
Why? 6 BR5 rifles would only be 30k. Silver is super easy to come by in this economy.
I understand people wanting “more, more, more!” but I don’t really want a lot of squads running around with 6 max br5 rifles that people think they’re automatically entitled to because they unlocked a weapon in research. I’d rather they be a little bit more valuable.
This what economy? You legit think 1k per 30min match is good? Not everyone has premium dude
You need to understand that thing shouldn’t cost more after merge specially when your gain is equal to pre merge gain, because that’s inflation, in a fricking FPS game
Unless you unironically want people pay real money in this game to ease the grind, stop
I’ve never paid for premium. I’ve actually been thinking about it to get the extra squad slots.
Gained 3k from 2 matches in the last 30 minutes: a Conquest and an Invasion. I don’t have Premium activated. It’s not awesome, but even at 1k/round you’re talking 3 rounds between you having “one” BR5 weapon and having “two” BR5 weapons. That absolutely doesn’t seem unreasonable and -in my opinion- I’d personally probably settle on 1k per BR level per weapon. For easing people into the game, discount BR1 to 500, BR2 to 1000 and BR3 to 2500. But I think 4k and 5k for BR4 and BR5 seem reasonable.
I don’t either
I dunno. I see your point, but I don’t think they should be locked into the same exchange rate as the campaigns when there was no such concept as battle rank.
Meh. People have to pay money to keep the game profitable and living. I’m neither pro nor con “paying real money to ease the grind” but I just don’t consider the current weapon economy to be very grindy.
I really hope this is corrected in the next update. I did more forum spamming than I’m comfortable with after I submitted the issue to Gaijin support. It’s a serious problem and should be highest priority.
Are you just going to skip 6000k?
Each value doubled, so yes. 6k would be switched.
6,000k would have to be for like a nuke or something.
Tier 1: 500
Tier 2: 1000
Tier 3: 2000
Tier 4: 4000
Tier 5: 5000
would be good too. Lowering the cost of Tier 3 weapons would reduce the barrier of entry for someone wanting to compete in the top bracket and increasing the cost of Tier 5 (even though it’s not that large of a jump) would reduce players’ability to jump straight from “unlocked a BR5 weapon” to “Now every soldier I ever put into battle has a maxed BR5 weapon.”
I would rather keep the current format, I had no idea it was possible to make it even worse.
OP’s suggestion seems much more interesting but I don’t think that such modification would be applied to the economy any time soon.
Yes, since it does not work “well” you need double the soldiers (72 average not 36) + their secondary equipment ON TOP of the BR3 and BR5 weapons.
Sure you can get away with just 36 but now you have to re-organize manually 20 mins every time.
You can use the custom equipment presets to help with this so that you can set each of them back and forth with the push of a button. That way, you don’t have to train double the troops (are you using double the squads as well?)
This one does not work properly, it gives soldiers unupgraded weapons rather than upgraded ones, so basically you still have to manually change each weapon.
Oh, we are here to bargain, not to be chopped by you with a knife
You are still spamming buttons for no reason.
And as someone else mentioned, it puts in 4 star weapons not 6 star as it does not read inventory correctly so the custom preset is almost useless unless you have a perfectly clean inventory.
If you run premium it’s still 6 squads of clicking + vehicles. Up to 10 if you have any extra slots.
