Thoughts on the Danuvia 39M (Moscow)

Finally I got to assemble a squad with 4 maxed out Danuvias on the Moscow campaign. And I must say it is a fun gun to use. But its also kinda crippled by unusually high horizontal recoil. Its 13, which is higher than of any submachine gun or even of assault rifles.
Yes assault rifles have less rof but they got fast and acurate bullets which the Danuvia doesn’t. This makes it fall behind other submachine guns basically at any range larger than a couple meters.

And strangely even the Danuvia of Stalingrad got a better (although not much) horizontal recoil than its Moscow version.

This motivates me more and more to think about to return to the good old MP40 + KP26 + MKB35 combo.

What do you think, is this high horizontal recoil justified, or maybe just another typo by the devs.
I mean the gun is still labeled as M399

Dunno what are you talking about. Started to use triple assaulter squads all with maxxed Kiraly and -40% vertical recoil perk. Feels like a charm, might be my new fav axis smg, totally annihilating soviets on close to mid range.

Moscow Danúbia and the other campaigns Danúbia are actually a different weapon, here in Moscow it’s Danuvia 39 while on the rest is Danuvia 40, might be the reason the other feels better
