1923 thompson version was supposed to replace the bar in LMG role, so is pretty accurate, there is no allaied bias only Axis with not GOOD equipment
the only thing that axis get as an SMG at last tier is the thing with 40 rounds and 600 fire rate
i mean axis has OVP that matches thompsons fire rate but has half ammo and recoils 1.5x more
This one is historically inaccurate OVP was use last time in ethiopia and next scrapped the weapon wo keep service on north africa was his sister the Beretta1918

This isn’t a red vs blue game, and axis in Tunisia don’t lack weapons to dominate a game with. The problem isn’t the weapons and will never be. Neither the vehicles.
A example of that is normandy, us can have all the p47s they want, bars Thompsons what ever, and they will still be fucked by any axis team with less firerate weapons.
Weapons and vehicles don’t change the outcome on a match in enlisted, the users behind the screen will.
You know what, I have started to replace mp43s to zks in normandy like a month ago or so, and. I m loving every single second of it.
Probably the most rare weapon in this game. No one uses zk and no one talks about it.
Zk383 is such an amazing smg and it’s serious the most underrated weapon this game have.

its a semi-realistic game or even simulation but in thompsons handbook it says that the M1928 model has 600-700 fire rate i mean think about yourself you are a newcomer and the first thing you see is a guy brrrrrrrting in your face tbh i dont care that much i get in my PanzerWerfer/calliope and spray rockets around but they were fixing these in war thunder i was hoping for that
also i played only Rifles in that game i know skill or something else matters but i want this game to continue and get better places not get ruined by some random gun bullshittery
higher RPM isn’t always a good thing as it will cause ghost bullets more frequently, happens with ppsh, and will almost always require you need an ammo bag because you will go through it too quickly. also it make sense that tommy reloads faster than mg42 because mg42 is belt fed even with the 50 round drum
this can be improved when the game uses war thunder’s pentretion mechinics though semevette will still be dogshit because no HE and no MG (please give it MG DF)
those 2 extra 100 pound bombs might as well be just stones because they are useless, it’s why the 51c-10 is dogshit in normandy and for flight characteristics the dauntless can outspeed stuka while a 2 star stuka has a much better climbrate and turn time than a full starred dauntless

1200rpm sounds cool so everyone publishes that without fact checking it properly and then it becomes Canon for every book.
Much like operation readiness reports being read at the surface level.
“Only 54% of PZ4s were ready for such and such Division” when no on reads further to understand that 28% of those not ready were under maintenance or other minor things.
So many people read into docs and assume it means just one thing. That the engines caught fire or the final drives blew.
