This new campaign merge is terrible, getting constantly stomp romped by opposing team vets. Attleast before merge i could find somewhat balanced campaigns. But not anymore no matter what side i am playing getting useless plebs on my team and opposing team max rank vets who just stomp run matches. who even enjoys these games anymore… expect these max rank plebs who are getting so hard playing against somewhat new players or bots…

In my opinion, I do not have the impression that the merge has made it that much worse. There are certainly matches that I think are “terrible,” but most of the problems that I think are terrible now existed before the merge.
The merge has done some good, but it has not solved some of the problems that existed before.
There was a gear imbalance in the Legacy game between beginners and veterans, and I think that has improved to some extent.
When I first started the game, my soldiers only had bolt-action Springfield 1903s, and all the enemy Germans had StG44s and were killed without being able to do anything. I thought it was a really bad game.
If I were a newbie to the game right now, many of the enemies my bolt action platoon would face would be the same bolt actions. If I am unlucky, I may encounter troops with G41s or Armaguellas, but, well, I can deal with them.
The good news is that the BR provides some protection for beginners. At least the enemy no longer takes out weapons that are several levels higher.
What the merge did not solve is the bias of the player base.
An imbalance where one team is filled with newbies and bots and one team has a lot of people who have played the game, this is something we still see today as it was in Legacy.
Bottom line, this game is as bad now as it ever was.
Although occasionally you can play a fun match with good players filling both teams.

Hi yes it has made games worse and harder no leveling up to get better weapons now have to fight auto weapons with rifles and you lose
For me its about 50/50.
My issue is when the Asian elites join the EU servers, then i constantly die. While it can be fustrating - you only get better playing against better opponents. So i try to embrace it and get better.
they better fix this game get rid of ghosts or I will fix it
Pfff Yeah sure as long as it was Normandy I guess.
I think it’s not enough players for the match maker to work at its optimum. Maybe they can pay us all to play for a month
