I never buy premium in WT full stop.
Except Enlisted is very likely going to get the same treatment as WT, and there will often be discounts on premium for half the price.
I’ve been on WT since 2013 up until a few years ago when I stopped, when premium was introduced, people had much the same reaction as here.
And in a few months the premium got discounted, and kept getting discounted often. And people were fine.
So why not can we express our anger here? The devs are doing something really ***t here.

here is where you are pretty much wrong.
a game, from the recon, is meant to be played, and having fun,
as the title it says, is " free to play ". it doesn’t mean i’m forced to pay for a game.
even worse, cover the whole product with microtransactions for the sake of make money because you can’t think otherwise.
i was willing to pay money, and i did payed money for this game so…
and before you’ll say: " if you don’t like them, don’t buy them " it’s not a value argument as it basically tries to cover a sorry and bad development system.
No, the bonus slots are pay to win.
Imagine bringing a Mortar squad and it is useless because the map is almost entirely indoor, like the manor map on Moscow.
Now no more! now you can bring another squad as backup for if one of your situational but extremely powerful squads becomes useless

And this is ON TOP of the powercreep premiums (because yes, the MG premiums are in fact more powerful than the SMG premiums) that are even more P2W than the previous, also P2W premiums.

I’m completely in favor of removing the +1 vehicle and infantry squad from it and the price lowered since it will have less “features”, the rest of the premium page however I am fine with.

No one is forcing you to play if you don’t get any enjoyment out of it, it really is as simple as that.

There is a difference between “having to pay to have fun” and feeling like you HAVE to pay to have a fair chance against your opponents. But sure, keep on ignoring the 35% bonus health, the OP guns, etc, those totally are not “required” to compete in this game.

it depends from the view.
war thunder premium vehicles can be somewhat compared to enlisted premium squads.
but those last are " worse ". because unlike war thunder, you have to upgrade them through normal line up ( if you want to include mor mgs and assaulters )
Look at it from my point of view, I have an hour, maybe two a day of time to play Enlisted or some other game. I have a decent chunk of spare money. I am perfectly comfortable with being able to spend some money to catch up to people who can no-life this game 8 hours a day.
They have a lot of free time, I have spare money, it really is as simple as that.
That is completely unrelated to the premium squads giving advantages that even the 14 hour a day players cannot have.
Even IF someone completely maxed out their gunner squad, it would be inferior to the premium gunner squad.

I keep hearing about that “required to compete”, yet I don’t see it. In every game I’m easily either on top or very close the top of the leaderboard for both teams, with no premium squad, just starter weapons and SMG’s, I have no issues killing premium squads left and right, granted I only play Normandy, not really interested in Moscow so dunno what the situation is there.
I can’t remember a single circumstance where it was a case of “he killed me because he bought a premium squad” rather than a case of “why was i there, that was dumb of me”
