This is a disaster /The Merge

But hey I’ll tell you what, maybe instead of butting into conversations I never tagged you for a reply just to harass me in efforts to rain on whatever parade you think is going on, you just mind your own business.

you are forcing HA with totally unhistorical weapons. ffs even avs 36 and ppd that you proposed for soviets were marginal rifles/smg-s. ppd 40 and all its variants (34 and 38) together didnt make even 2% of ppsh41 production. avs 36 had only 1/3rd of svt 38 production and doesnt even comes to around 5% of svt40.
at least it is good that you didnt mention fedorov…

another made up term. ffs either we have HA or we dont. some fantasy in between is stupid. it is either acceptable to have zh 29, kiraly, fedorov, m2 carbine and KT on all maps or it isnt. you are basically for deciding that “soft HA” is ok for some made up (or time traveling) weapons/vehicles, but it is not ok for some other weapons/vehicles. these double standards are extremely stupid. you either have standards or you dont.

public forum. will answer to all HA  out there that are basically proposing their made up version of “HA”.

btw flag me more cause words written on forum can hurt you.

What also is stupid is seeing king tigers in Stalingrad for example. I can get early war arsenals into late wars if wanted but late war arsenals into early war battles is kind of where I draw the line. Yeah rare weapons like the kiraly and zh29 added into Moscow but at least it’s understandable. Yeah avs and fedorov was exotic to see in Moscow but at least I can understand why they placed it in Moscow since the avs was used by some guards units and some fedorov a were stored away and even used by Siberian /saami hunters. Rarer weapons before the merge were just showcased and to add some type of flavor to each campaign’s Arsenal. Even though I do feel the Suomi kp/31 would have been more appropriate over the kiraly.

Funny how you think I’m offended by your words even though it’s not really the case. It’s more of the fact you came into multiple threads just to harass me every time I type anything. You literally go out of your way to do it. Which speaks much louder volumes about your character than mine.

„You are playing the game wrong! Here are some tips or use YouTube.“ they are saying now after the merge. What a joke.
Before it was easy and fun to play. Some enemies were hard to beat. But now after one minute you know stay or leave the game.

Yeah and now every enemy team you run into is headache inducing ever since the merge came out. High level/ hard teams were meant to be occasional on any campaign, and rewarding when you won against them. But now if you bring one high level gun into a squad, it’s every game being a sweatfest.

i agree. but HA train has left this game long time ago.

problem is that early war weapons are heavily unbalanced. ffs fedorov, ppsh41, svt40, t34, t50, garand, thompsons, KV1, KV2 are all early war weapons. and what does germany have to counter it? short barrel 75 tanks? kar98k? mp40? or maybe g41(w) that had very limited quantities made, was prone to malfunctioning and was hard to maintain? german troops would rather use capture svt40 than g41(w).

yes i see how good experience would be if we listened to your suggestion. and this was told to you multiple times and you still insist that it is “good idea”.

dont give yourself importance that you dont have. i have been doing this for ~10 months whenever someone mentions half-assed HA idea. you are just the one who is going around numerous topics and putting these shit ideas, so i am disproving them when i see it. if you actually wanted real HA mode, i would even support it. but not these fantasy ideas that you are ok with some obsolete, fantasy, limited or time traveling weapons, but you are not ok with others.

personally i enjoy higher difficulty battles. they are enjoyable whether i win or lose. before it was one sided roflstomps based on the side of campaign you choose (well besides normandy which was somewhat even).
and yeah i am for another queue cause BR3 doesnt have anything to search for in BR5 nor in BR1.

Then how would you do real HA mode. Mostly bolt actions? Or certain weapons being limited which personally I wouldn’t mind? How would you go about it? And keep I’d rather keep this civil.

Because if there’s any idea you have for a real HA mode, then I’d be more than happy to hear, perhaps we can push the idea enough for it to be a game mode.

this is HA for squads. and it wouldnt be balanced. specially when you include tanks and planes.

Yeah perhaps if there’s only preset squads in the early and mid wars like these and then I’d be happy to see a game mode like this. And if people don’t like it and then they can go back to the base game.

for this to work you would need much larger maps cause balance of tanks isnt even that important if you can flank. only when game forces you in frontal tank confrontations is that you get heavy unbalance. also cause of weapon imbalance they could introduce player advantage cause rarely you had even fights in ww2. e.g. d-day had 2 allied soldier for every axis soldier.

more or less you would basically need to implement whole new game for HA to work and i think HLL looks something like that.

Yeah it’s just I enjoy this game more because of the ability to control an ai team from FP perspective.

Though I do feel that riflemen (meaning bots) need to be much more accurate with bolt actions then they are in the game. And you should be able to command your machine gunners to mount their mg and anything that goes in their line of vision gets beamed if placed at just the right angle.

funnily enough…IMO opinion…Historcialy built squads would have brought the better balance people were looking for… WOuld have helps to solve over abundance of weapons and spam.

Would also probably make it alot slower paced game, something remotely like HLL.
But since this game lacks about everything HLL has I dont really see it as working option.

Lonewolf ( What ever it was ) could be fun with HA setup

It would slow down a bit. But nothing like HLL. I imagine it would be back to like how Moscow used to be. Really enjoyed that.

Even BR 2 now gives that vibe, except when its full of vets with many smg squads.

I have another idea. Make the top tier guns that were at first available in the early war campaigns useable on those low tiers however those guns are limited to two per squad (except the avt 40).And then rarer guns like the fedorov only be one or two per rotation (meaning all the squads together). And then if it’s more than 2 a high tier gun and then they’re taken into high tier again. And then make the queues organized into 3 queues. Tiers 1-3 and 3-4 and then 4-5. So that way if someone who has 2 ave’s for instance in each squad and then someone can counter them with semi auto rifles still. Or if you want to bump it down to 1 high tier smg per squad then that’s fine.

i was always of opinion that first 20-25 levels of every campaign were more or less balanced. unbalanced shit happens when they added loads of weapons that were in that campaign but were vastly OP. and then they needed to add various fantasy weapons to keep the balance for both sides.

Yeah thats a fair assement.

the ship has sailed but That really powerful high level equipment needed a gate on it to make it fit in with the rest, not replace it.

By gate I perhaps mean Like A veteran squad slot in your deck. Can only have one, but certain weapons are only available to your veteran squad. very limited availability.

IMO ofcourse.
