The old machinegunner premium squads finally got the abilty to add an engineer… (thank you so much devs)
But since they could add it to the old gunner squads, can other old premium squads (and event squads) also get this option?
( I am waiting to be able to use the moscow ppk squad again

I think it would be even more important that they do not occupy a slot.
You will have to wait until they announce new bundles and need some new cool feature to sell them.
That would be nice too, but i could live without it…
We fought a lot for it, I almost got banned in forums, but yes they gave engies for older gunner squads as a result.

We just need to keep talking about it, like now, and one day maybe they will make premiums better in composition, make even old ones worthwhile!
I was just confused about the devs saying the squads are hardcoded and cannot be edited. I think they maybe understood us wrong…
Maybe they thought we wanted a 5th premium soldier, but i always meant just the abilty to add engineer ourselves…
I’d even be fine with having maximum 3 lmg per premium sqyad, BUT having the possibility to edit specialists the same way as regular squads and add the same amount of men in it.
In fact it’s what I’ve always wanted.
Good to see that this was implemented, it’s a step in the right direction.
I just hope this feature actually stays unlike the secondary weapon slot for Premium Squads.
So the engineer doesn’t mimic the weapon that the rest of the squad has. Cringe.
So now that the engineer in a gunner squad has the ability to build the HMGs, i assume engineer slots for assaulters will be a thing when they add an ability for engineers to build in assault squads.
Medic crates?
That would resolve the issues with medics being assaulter 1.
You should add in edit: old event squads as well.
The green attire, ppsh/tommy gun hybrid squad was extremely fun to use.
