I play Enlisted because I’m so tired of the same reskinned, cookie cutter experience that you get from Call of Duty and Battlefield.
Also, the whole EA vs Community debacle left a sour taste in my mouth for Dice and EA, so I felt like it was time to move on.
Enlisted was the first game I found, and as it turns out I prefer Soviet campaigns and weapons. I also think being able to command a squad was unique and immersive and lends itself well to making the experience feel busier and more alive, so I bought the Moscow assaulters squad and here I am.
I’m mostly satisfied with the game, my biggest hang-up right now is how god awful the AI is. Fix that, and the majority of my complaints will be gone. The game is different, with unique mechanics and aside from a couple of people here and there, the community is much less toxic than the Battlefield or CoD communities. Enlisted is a great game, Darkflow is a decent dev and of course IMO you can’t really go wrong with Gaijin.

I’ll put it clearly: I don’t care about F2P/$60. When I switched from BFV the gameplay, graphics, experience was worse than BFV. But Enlisted had immersive eras and battles, vehicle damage system and combined arms BF-like gameplay loop.
Everything else (like squads or ‘progression’) I could ditch easily.
All I ever see you do is cry.

I’m pretty sure you were telling people to suck it up and deal with it when they first announced the matchmaker and probably said to play something else too

This is worth a watch, but personally I think Enlisted beats Hell Let Loose on most fronts
