I agree. Its not really a console issue, its mostly a new player issue.
Understanding the equipment windows is already painful on PC, and without a tutorial of how multiplayer works… No wonder they aren’t too good.
I’m asking for the OPTION to turnoff crossplay for PC players. Console players have that option now.
And it’s not so much even consloe players per se, it’s the avalanche of console players that have flooded the game since the older gen consoles have had play enabled.
If you like playing with them that’s all good, I just want the option to not play with them
300 tickets is way too early to quit. I’ve had many matches where each point was captured with <200 tickets remaining (including the first one). On some maps the first point is the hardest to capture, on others you can just snowball point after point because of how the next point is chosen.
I’ve also had a match where the enemy was already on the last point in numbers when we lost the point before that. Needless to say by the time anyone could’ve ran over to the point (and that is without considering it was an open field where the enemy had clear line of fire at anyone even trying to cross) they have already captured it.
I also remember one match that felt like it was hell. The enemy just rushed all the caps until it was the last one remaining. They almost captured that one aswell, it was a long and hard battle… but we just barely held on. I felt like quitting at around the 3rd point but in the end we won.
I’m not saying quitting is always bad, but quitting only because you think the team is going to lose in the first minute is. Even I have matches where I start out with doing nothing, but then I always manage to gain at least 1500 points by the end of the match (not great, not terrible).
Not to completely copy and paste a previous reply, but what I’m against is the absolute flood of new players created by enabling older gen consoles to play the game. I guess that Berlin is not available to the older systems now but I’ve been grinding Normandy Axis and the change has been dramatic.
When you have burned through 300 tickets and you haven’t even ticked the first objective, it is a pretty good indicator of the kind of team you are trying to work with.
