The state of pacific campaign needs to be fixed ASAP

So it makes sense to use them against inf

it does
but the gunner’s optic is far from bulletproof

the M2 .50 cal was designed as an anti-tank and anti-aircraft gun, as well as having the ability to fight infantry, so…

still not bulletproof

Arguing from the point of historical accuracy is commendable, but would you not agree that looking for ways to balance the game to make it enjoyable is far more important? Historical accuracy means very little if the campaign is filled with prototype weaponry anyway, and considering the state of the Imperial Japanese Army in real life…

Well both the Ta Se and the M13 are incredibly vulnerable already, so what more do you want. Just shoot all the crew out with the ATR, and then leave the body as it causes more harm to the enemy by clogging a tank slot. They also nerfed the M13 a crazy amount already.

While this is no doubt true when it comes to Anti-Armor weaponry, I must challenge you on the M13 part. The Ta-Se crew can be eliminated with ease even from the front due to the elevated seats, however the M13 gunner has far better protection.

Fair enough I suppose, though I would prefer setting the vehicle alight and have it burn the crew alive.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is this nerf you refer to? Perhaps I have been too occupied to notice the patch notes. My gratitude for your answer.

Well it does, it just takes a moment, and more times than not the player will just pop out of the tank, extinguish it and then crawl back inside.

They significantly decreased the time .50 cals can fire before needing a to cool down, how long the cooldown takes, significantly decreased the penetraton of the AP rounds, then added a HE round that never existed to the belt that has no splash, but cannot pen anything. That HE round only seems to concuss people, which is annoying for everyone involved.
