I spent a gold weapon order on a RMN-50 and also Gold for a second one because it was a very unique and funny weapon. But after the update, there´s no point in use them anymore.
The rifle grenade has a faster reload and it also can be used as a rifle. The explosion radius seems to be the same (I haven’t tested yet) and they also look easier to use.
So, what’s the point of use (or buy) an RMN-50 if you can get a better weapon for free?
Are the developers planning to buff the RMN-50 to differentiate it with the rifle grenades?

And yes, I know that we can still use it in the Moscow campaign because there are not rifle grenades in this campaign. But I know and you know that in future updates the rifle grenade will arrive in Moscow too .

i believe that the RMN-50 can be refilled at an ammo station while rifle grenades can’t

Yeah, I think you are right. But anyway you can still have a full squad (nine troopers) of rifle grenades and if you have the second slot weapon unlocked, you can double your ammo.

Ooops… you are right. I never used in Moscow so I forgot that they were in the campaign.
So the RMN-50 is also useless in Moscow…

It allows you to look like a Russian pirate using a hand canon. For the novelty alone it’s worth it. I still believe it has a larger radius still, too, even after the grenade buff.

Reload speed is fine, but the damage should definitely be reverted back for grenade launchers. Its enough of explosive plague disaster from triple detpack spam under +50% range throw perk. At this point nobody even needs to waste bullets, game is purely about explosives

You can be both with dual weapons instead of backpack! Can also be a ninja if the sword is equipped. It’s the true reason why Soviets dominate effortlessly the Moscow campaign: They can have Prirates/Ninjas/Cowboys. At this point it’s like controlling Chuck Norris.

is a gold weapon no one sayed they can kill the entire map, they are unique weapon thats all, some of them are very good like the g43 kurz some of them are sidegrade like the perdersen

I’d say the other way around.
Cause before the buff, it legit didn’t deal any damage.
So keep the damage, but severly increase reload.

No it’s still useful, since it can be put on At gunners and the Mortarmen, so you can do fun things like this with them since they can’t use rifle grenades
