The problem with invasion

Maybe is just me but there is a strange feeling when playing invasion. In that mode tha attackers have a reinforments pool, if the get to 0 attackers loose. The defenders have no reinforments pool and have only to kill enemies before they capture all points.

The problem with that is that the defenders are willing to assault enemies line fearless because they only need to do as much damage as posible whiel the attackers have to act cautious because any soldier they lose is a step for defeat. Thats make me as defender want to get out of my trench one I have lost my best soldier of the squad because if a lost my squad I dont have any penalty just I can select the other one. For the contrary when I am the attacker I have to play with every soldiers as I was playing for my life.

This mechanic makes the player not fealing as that he is defending against a overwhelming enemy, instead the feel free to die as quick as posiblle inflicting damage as the were a kamikaze. Same from the attacker point of view where you feel that you have not enough support and in inferiority.

I think that it will be more proporly to the defenders having the reinforments pool. And instead add a timer to get the objetive, each time attackers get one objetive the get some more time. If the defenders reinforments pool reach 0 attackers win.

With this change the defenders will be really defensive and caring about their lifes feeling that they are facing a overwhelming enemy. The attackers also will be more willing to assault in force and need to be quick.

Yes, agree. Defenders in the current environment can even do endless kamikaze bombs(Suicidal attacks).

I mean yes and no. Attackers can also easily flank with rallies, they’ll basically always know where the enemy is going to come from. And then IF defenders got tickets, it’d definitely have to be more than attackers.

In my opinion the attackers should not have any reinforments pool. Just like the defenders now. For me, they have to change the reinforments poll to the defenders and the only limitation for the attacker is a timer to complete the objetive.

Defenders also know from where attackers are coming, and the can also use rallies for spawing from any direction. In addition, defenders can waste squads searching for enemy rally points because they dont have a reinforment pool to care about.

There is just no reason for defenders to do a tactical retreat to save their own tickets due to suffering heavy losses on an early cap. With defenders getting their own tickets, atleast they have to use their brains sometimes whether retreat or not or else the last caps will be taken without resistance due to they lost all the tickets on an earlier cap.

Exactly! totally agree. Thats why I think that the reinforments pool should be for the defenders not for the attackers

This only happens when we have a team that uses the brain, because normally the defenders hide in a lot of the matches, there was already a battle that I was protecting the bridge in berlin, and when I went to load the tank the flag fell, “damn it was me who was defending the bridge alone?” there is an invasion that when well aligned doesn’t last 10 minutes
I believe that 2 modes would be more interesting, 1 for time and another for tickets

I like the idea, and to take it further: I think defenders should get more time to fortify and establish defensive positions on the point before the attackers can get there.

Right now everybody is racing to the point from the same distance, and frequently the attacking team can establish themselves on the objective so quickly that the defeders don’t really have a chance.

Right, you tell me the enemy had any right to win this match, we didn’t even break the 3rd objective because you can’t defeat the waves of some teams.
