I rarely play Normandy overall, maybe once per few months.
But this is my first game after half a year in P-47D-22-RE (the version without HVARs), the hint is that i exclusivly avoided attacking tanks.
After 10 minutes they stopped respawning in those Ju-188s.
It wasnāt even that good game but i can list you what i killed:
8 Ju-188 A-2
1 Bf 110 G-2
1 Panzer III N
1 Panther A

I donāt agree. Yesterday I had a match where every single MF plane suicide bombed.
So Iāve spent 50% of the match camping AA, not protecting my team and not gaining points (excluding rally).
So yeah, there are plenty of planes in the air. As long as you donāt attempt to fight them.
as a tanker and someone who basically never flies planes (not my playstyle)
I never understood air to ground balance.
Like instead of having loadouts with different upsides and downsides, it seems there is only bigger bombs are always better and rockets delete tanks no matter what.
in my book, many small bombs should be better at clearing infantry - while one big bomb should be specifically there to take out tanks.
Rockets have always been OP in my book, you take out tanks and the target tank canāt do anything do influence it. Tho recently I have received less damage from those runs, I guess rockets have been nerfed.
still, plane balance seems all over the place and there is no real logic behind it - or at least that how I see it.

Extreme problem is how those bomb splashes works vs infantry, you can sometimes crouch to fully nullify blast of 250kg+ bomb.

Well, youāre unlucky the enemy pilots just suckedā¦ or were scum defending with suicide bomb.
As long as you face a pilot thatās ācompetentā enough to not simply crash, the G10 will make you feel like a predator.

Personally I like when I have suiciders on my team. Means if I feel like it at any given moment, chances are Iāll be able to spawn in my plane cause there isnāt anyone sucking off the attacker slot all match
