Sir, I can light up tank engine with a normal grenade doesn’t mean I can pen the tank with it…

And you are telling me the BK 3.7 which has more pen than the normal PaK 36 can’t even scratch a tank from above?

Matter of fact, that’s what the trade off was is what I was informed of. The Krauts had a larger blast radius. We had more of them. Thus equal. At least that’s what I was told

i mean tank roofs are thinner than the frontal armor and i think the 37mm is using APCR though that doesn’t matter much since this game engine HATES accurately modeling german and american APCR properly

… You guys waste precious HVAR on vehicles while the p47 got a perfectly good 500lb, in the middle under the fuselage (means it can be accurate)?

Having flew with both bf110 and p47 way more than I should have, sure p47 is better. In a dogfight it will easily wrecks other bombers, and the bf110…

But that is until someone brings in a bf109, you know, the regular axis fighter.

Also worth noting, a player does not get access to the p47 till mid to late lvls (I think it was around lvl 20? Somewhere areound that), so at those lvls it’s perfectly fine to have a good, efficient plane.

Just keep in mind that while Allies have the best CAS plane around, Axis surely have the best ground vehicles… it evens itself out.

So. Don’t nerf my plane. Learn to fly or use AA instead of whining.

Well guess what ? The germans lost the war, that might somehow be related…

Joke asides, Bf 109 and FW 190 can dogfight with P-47 pretty well. German player usually don’t bother and go for the suicide run instead with their plane and then complain about US planes being OP.

like i said APCR isn’t the actual performance since iirc APCR (americans called it HVAP) functioned more like normal AP though was slightly weaker by slopes…Slavic APCR on the other hand was completely defeated by angles guess which one they prefer

It was a joke, chill out. And yes germany (to some extent) lost because allied had air superiority for most of the war.

They lost because they (almost) alone wanted to defeat the whole world including 2 out of 3 bigest industrial powers.
US air superiority is a result.

Axis normandy have good planes too

The era of p47 dominance has already passed (just as the era of jumbo passed)
