The lack of Voicelines, just want to make things sound better

I notice the soldiers in this game are somewhat quiet despite being in constant action.
I believe, that there should be more Voiceline Interactions between the Ally and the Enemy team.
here are my suggestions to the current idea.

Yes, these voicelines should use the language of the appropriate nation

My Suggestion:

(1.)If someone spots an Enemy

  • If one of the Player’s squad soldier spots an enemy soldier,

    Example:
“I see an enemy!, Enemy spotted!, Enemy infantry!, The enemy is in cover!”

    or

If one of the Player’s squad soldier spots an enemy Tank.

    Example:
“Enemy vehicle!, Enemy Tank!, Enemy Heavy armor!”

They can also be more specific like saying the actual distant
    “30, 50, 100 meters”.

-There should be a limit for the distant, so it’s best if it’s capped at 100 meters.

    For Example:
    Enemy infantry…50 meters!

-There should be a cooldown/delay between the voicelines so it doesn’t get too spammy.

(The Player should also have them as voice line when the player ping/mark something)

[The ping/mark by the Player that activates the voicelines]

(2.) Enemy Buildings that are mark/ping by the Player

  • This applies from Rally Points, AA Guns, AT Guns, Ammunition Boxes and MG Nest.

    Example:
    “Enemy Machinegun Nest…100 meters!”

-There should be a cooldown/delay between the voicelines as well.

(3.) If there is an ongoing Airstrike

  • I think having the soldiers to react to the sirens when an Enemy Airstrike is about to hit down would be a nice touch.

    Example:
keep your heads down!, Take cover soldiers!, Watch out for the bombs!

i’m all for immersion and overhall improvements related to it, nice suggestion :+1:

( plus, majority of what’s being suggested, is also present in the actual voice lines )

This used to be a thing if I remember right, your AI would tell you if there was someone on your flank, or am I going crazy?

These interactions should probably be limited a bit. And also, there should be a button that makes player’s squad stop talking. Otherwise, there will be more talk than action)
Except this — why not? Forwarded.

Right now the only useful thing ai speak is just emeny grenade spotted and they all run towards me and got me killed for it.

That button could be simply made into a toggle of squad aggressiveness.

On aggressive, you’ll hear more voice lines and call outs from your squads, they’ll engage whenever they see an enemy, they will more actively go into melee in close range, something that would work well CQC or advancing squads

On Passive, you’ll hear the announcer voice lines from other squads, but your squad is mostly silent. Your squad will try to conceal themselves more and rarely, if at all, engage the enemy. This is mostly for people that aren’t close range and would not like the AI squad mates to reveal their location to the enemy and die easily.

Also, unless I haven’t noticed it, enemy voice lines should be audible too, except for the narrator, of course, so players know when the enemy is near.

yes i totally agree
The dubbing of this game is too quiet, which makes people feel that there is no momentum, and there is no feeling of enthusiasm. I often ignore their voices in the game. In fact, they occasionally talk. When I played the American army, I found that they were very talkative. The German army seems to be relatively silent
I loved the voice acting in Red Orchestra 2 and I hope the voice acting in this game is as good as it is

As long as it doesn’t turn the soundscape into RO2/RS1 (IVAN OVER THERE OVERTHEOVERTHER), I’m fine with this.
