This is why I dont cap or defend anymore in Enlisted. 
But fighting whom?
If the enemy calls in an aerial bomber 3x in the game, you’ve already secured 15 kills.
I’ve noticed that it’s very easy to shoot down jets. On Reddit, a guy posted how to get them and indeed, it’s very easy. So I guess he didn’t encounter any air opposition in this game.
But as well as shooting them down, there are ground targets, like tanks.
With the Su-9, a single bomb can destroy two tanks at the same time.
The score he achieved in this match is worthy of congratulations.

It makes no difference AI planes or not Air kills are an achievement its not easy to hit event something flying straight and level especially in the Kikka because its flight model is super bugged right now it jitters and wigs out like crazy.
I have games where the ratio is more towards the players because they’ll call like a bomber raid and I’ll go over and wipe the strike and they’ll just stop using that calling them because they never get through.

Typo
Depending on the raid, it’s sometimes a fighter deterrent.
For example, allies bombers have a LOT of defense mgs. Even if the formation gets taken out, those often manage to graze the fighter… which is often all it takes to take it down after a while or make it weaker enough so that least experienced pilots can have a go.
Smart ppl do that to me sometimes. Somehow can’t win in a dogfight after many tries. Spawn on ground, call a formation… compels me to defend the ground from those, I get grazed, leak oil a bit… then the same guy spawns in the air again to finally (try) get his revenge.
It’s a way… but honestly AA is much better at the job 
That trick rarely works on someone who knows how far they can get before the bombers AA will engage them.
My fire is less accurate but I preserve my plane for when he wants to try and have another go.

Real revenge guys, spawn as engies and… wait. Wait for me to believe the skies are safe enough to bomb. So I get closer to the ground… then as I’m really close, bam, they hose me.
This is the way with AA.
And always in the damn grey zone too

although it is funny when in some of those cases where they succeed at crippling my plane I then turn and crash into them killing them and destroying they’re AA gun with the conveniently dropped bomb that also wipes his squad
Is mostly an antitank plane just like Me-262 is anti apc/infantery
For me Best is meteor by having insane flying performance and payload along the kikka for well hehe pocket 800kg nuke
