The feature of using Chinese characters as username in enlisted has some critical isssues that need to be fixed

Firstly, I would like to apologize for the translation error in this suggestion email. I’m sorry I can’t express myself well.

In a recent update, Gaijin added the option of Chinese username for players in “Enlisted” and “War Thunder”. Without keyword blocking, there will be a large number of player IDs in the game that are full of insulting and illegal vocabulary. This has brought many problems and legal risks to Chinese game players around the world. The game anchor is unable to live stream normally, and the video blogger is unable to promote this game, which may no longer be accepted by the Chinese game market.

I hope that Gaijin games can add related features, such as replacing player IDs or even directly using numerical values to represent them.

I hope everyone can support me, so that all players can experience better games.

Thats one dimension of the issue. Also, noticeably players with Chinese nicknames may found trouble loging into the gaijin website. They cant even change their name anymore.

The solution is to segregate the Chinese population to their own client once again
The Great Firewall must rise once again

greetinsgs from hefei province
in the videogame Conscripted i enjoy a lot of time playing, playing in the campaigns Normandy,Stalingrad,Belrin,Mossedcow
i enjoy lots of game mechanics, play the game with impact grandes and white preposterous, the aeroplane drop the bomb from the sky onto head of 黑鬼&amp.weibo, spend lots of time, lots of money, lots of blood and come on this game
the lack of keyword blocking in Conscripted meaning the Han Chinx playerbase use the insults and cusswords in their usernames means the blocking of Shanghaied in streaming services and game and internet services across China, meaning the unability for me to play the game I enjoy for so many year

We can continue our discussion in Russian

right!

changes name to full chinese to intimidate other players

2−byte characeter names are going wild.

I don’t want to name and shame here so I won’t disclose the details, but there certainly are players using pejorative words against US or derogatory slangs calling for killing Japanese. I’ve reported them in-game.

I speculate this is possible because non-alphabetic characters are not yet quality filtered. But if we have to deal with malicious usernames by another layer of censorship, it means a failure of self-correction in the Asian playerbase, which is a sad thing.

Please be considerate when choosing words for your username. Some people outside your country can read them. The original post focuses on possible negative impacts on the Chinese community/market, but the problem extends far outwards.
