I have kind of a forlorn hope they add that Type 4 double barrel shotgun pistol (assuming it’s actually a thing and not some misclassification situation) as a silver weapon. I am quite the fan of the US sawn off and am a bit sad that you can only acquire a limited number of them.
japan also has WP grenades, so soviets are only nation without it
also
e.g.
custom paratroopers
body armor
handheld mortar
ampulomet
and i probably forgot something
japan is only other country with unique mechanisms, but they are not useful compared to soviets:
melee mines - explosive pack more useful and it was bugged for a long time(idk if it is fixed now)
katanas - not really more useful compared to other melee weapons
“MG” with shield - only for those who bought it
sword pistol -that is mostly meme
double barrel MG - probably worst BR5 MG
