It’s a good weapon, because it was a pleasure to play with it. It is specific and this makes it an interesting weapon.

It is interesting and a nice gun irl, but face it, there’s nothing good about it in Enlisted. The sights suck, the damage is terrible and the rof not good enough.

I like it. You can quickly kill an enemy , good accuracy will help in this. Of course, it takes time to get used to playing with it, but M1 is much better than BA, so it’s good for its level.

You can kill him quicker with a VZ. Just takes 1 decent shot.

Then how do you use it? At cqc it gets eaten by any dedicated cqc weapon (LMG, smg, flamethrower…) At long range the damage sucks, so your enemy will dive into cover before you can finsh him, at mid range it’s imo still worse than a BA. The damage is still too low. And the aperture is crap at mid range.

What’s ttk? And how does it relate to the fact that VZ can kill in a single hit from 50m, while the M1 carbine can’t even from 0.

And crap hitpower. Thing is, you don’t understand that the VZ is better, as it has a place in mid-long range, whereas the M1 carbine has no place. Can’t compete against BA long range, can’t compete agaist regular semi mid range and can’t compete against smg at short range. It’s just a gun you throw onto the extra dudes in an assault squad.

I wrote quite clearly. This weapon are good now, probably before the nerf of semi-automatic M1 rifles was unbalanced.
We play in squads vs squads, not 1 vs 1.
You can faster eliminate squad with M1 than with BA.
It doesn’t matter, we have short distances and the M1 is quite accurate on them.
This is a weapon that replaces BA, not lmg and smg. I have already said that with the M1 it is easier to destroy the squad in the vicinity and faster, in the distance it is just as good.

You rarely come across whole squads in cqc. At most 3 dudes, usually 1 or 2. And in the open where you do come across them, you can use cover to mitigate the rof issues of BAs.

You get those at lvl1 in normandy I believe. And you face them quite often. And if you’re planning to face them, it’s better to face them outside of their effective range with a rifle, then in their most effective range with a something worse.

I constantly see whole squads, apparently we are playing different games, or you are moving very tactfully and slowly.
Pistols are good, but magazine is small\dmg at distance lower\dmg at cqc too lower.
If I am somewhere far away, then I will never win, because while I destroy one squad from far away (which is very difficult because of the kill camera), two more will come to the point.

AVS is a lot better due to damage. The AVS can 1 shot at close range. it has 12.0-14.4 hitpower. The M1 carbine has 7.3-8.0.
I only see whole squads when I’m playing slowly. When I’m active, I usually see only 1-3 players that are seperated from the rest of their squad by solid cover.
I play rifles by flanking any denying entry to points.

Actually was just plaing Moscow and i managed to kill 7 dudes (out of which I’m guessing 2-3 were players) In around 10s with the VZ24.

- The Gewehr 41 definitely deserves to be there considering the other ones that made it onto the top 20 on my list. It’s actually a good weapon, good enough at least. Would you rather use a VZ.24? No, is my guess.
- M1 Carbine I do hate I’ll give you that, but considering it is a semi auto I put it at the bottom of all semi auto weapons because I think others might find it good (but not me).
- Could be true, and how it feels makes me think I might have put it higher, but it does have some faults.
- I put the M2 above the AVS precisely because of what you just said, that it can be used on non-assaulters like an assault weapon. I think it’s quite useless of a weapon other than that, but running-in-and-gunning is a favourite of many players, including myself, and SMGs if used well are overpowered, and you can put this damn thing on any troop it’s like putting an SMG on all troops.
But then of course, these are my opinions only… I fully understand people disagree and it’s nice to see people’s opinions but I wouldn’t call them “faults” as if my ratings are blatantly wrong haha, maybe I’m misinterpreting your use of language though!
Appreciate the feedback. Thanks, and yeah it’s mostly just preferences so if people think something should be 3-4 places away from where it is that’s more than fine because I can see arguments for most of the weapons to be in that range really.
It’s not intended for kids though but I see your point haha, mostly just trying to add some comedy and more entertainment value in my videos with more editing. A meme at the very end though regarding FG 42s I doubt would be for kids…
