My 10 best maps (in no order)

Le Bre (Invasion) - Normandy

Omer (Invasion/Destruction) - Normandy

Tractor Plant (Invasion/Confrontation) - Stalingrad

The Reich Chancellery (Invasion/Confrontation/Conquest) - Berlin

Wilhemstrasse (Invasion) - Berlin

Lehrter Banhof (Invasion/Destruction) - Berlin

Fortress (Invasion) - Tunisia

Al Har (Invasion) - Tunisia

The Voskhod Settlement (Invasion/Confrontation) - Moscow

Pokrovskoe City (Destruction) - Moscow

Campaign-rank in terms of maps

  1. Normandy - Omer, Le Bre, Gare de Saint-Lo South, La Perelle Village, Ruin of Vaux. Normandy has a lot of great maps, and only a few bad ones.

  2. Berlin - First place contender. Got the absolute best maps but sadly also some of the worst.

  3. Tunisia - Beside Kahif Cave Village I don’t mind any map in this campaign. Not just astoundingly beautiful but also fun to play without any sense of linearity. Offers a great mix of all kinds of gameplay.

  4. Moscow - Not really any bad map. Probably got the best collection of maps on average. Crazy to think this campaign is only in fourth but in my world it is. Could arguably be tied with Tunisia.

  5. Stalingrad - Tractor Plant is just amazing, it’s hard to contest that. The other maps are definitely not that bad. It’s just that they are too similar.

  6. Pacific - Tenaru River, Gavutu - I cry and shiver just thinking about some maps (+ game mode) in this campaign. Some maps are decent, don’t get me wrong. But don’t offer anything near the top-notch.

Gavutu in the pacific can be fun map.

Gavutu in destruction mode is awful. Probably on par with Kahif and any armored train experience.

Gavutu invasion or confrontation can be fun, though.

I like playing on Gavutu during destruction on the US team and setting up an AT gun next to the giant radio tower and sniping the enemy tanks and infantry on the airstrip.

For me Berlin maps are not that good, i started playing the pre realease of Berlin and most of the maps of 2 years ago are the same… Stalingrad i will put it in a better place idk i think i am the only one that loves Stalingrad ( maybe because the x4 exp )

Le Bre is the best map in the game and has been since the start of the game.

I also like the Guadalcanal maps, St. Lo, and the new variant of Ruins of Vaux that ends at the Church is also fun.

My favourite maps are funnily enough, all in Moscow (I do like others, but these I never tire of)

Moscow:

Monastery
Fortified District
Vysokovo Villiage

Love these. As long as they arent conquest

I am yet to grind Normandy properly (been saving it for a group of friends), But here are some sweet maps there too. Le Bre, I think it is, is just stunning

i’ll start saying that my list is kinda biased.

cuz, the maps that i love are unironically mostly bad for gameplay, but i love them for the asthetics.

with that said,

  1. Selow Heights from berlin ( Train Station and River Crossing )
    i generally love the area. one of my favorite as it looks really gorgeous.

  2. Manor From Moscow
    same as above

  3. Fortified District From Moscow
    because of :snowflake:

  4. Mainsky Forest From Moscow
    i like the layout and the details inside the woodwork

  5. Gavutu Island From the pacific

  6. La Perelle Village from Normandy

  7. Omer from Normandy

  8. Monastery From Moscow

  9. The Voskhod Settlement from Moscow

  10. Tractor Factory from stalingrad

I might be alone here but I don’t have any map preferences, they are all nice in their own way.

Probably just prefer Stalingrad and Berlin (except Wilhelmstrasse since just 1 road for tanks) because of historic landmarks and iconic buildings, and maps like Monastery (Moscow) with big & unique architectural features.

The train map/gamemode can go though.

Vysokovo Village

Berlin’s maps are the most recognizable ones historically but the train mode needs to be deleted in regular matches and make it custom only.

I don’t dislike any in particular. Perhaps except the confrontation one in Pacific.

My favourite one is Stalingrad’s Traktor factory thought. There’s history in it.

For all their flaws, DF research and artistic teams, are aces.

Next I’d love some winter Stalingrad.
