They are really interesting. If you get to melee range they will stab you to death lightning fast and in maps like ardennes they will be really dangerous when they can shoot through the bushes. After the minor update the ai started using mortars and tanks making them even more deadly. Then there are also those moments where you can run into a building full of AI with just a knife and kill them all without them doing anything. I would really like to know why the AIs effectiveness is so random

it is cause of aggro meter. have low aggro and they will ignore you, do certain actions that raise their aggro and they will aimbot you from other side of the map.
if you want to reset their aggro meter just go hide some obstacle for second or two and they are back to dumb AI that will ignore you. used that strategy when i was against bot team to get 140+ kills with one soldier.
Has anyone here seen the ninja bots?
They move so fast from side to side that even with an MG42 it’s impossible to hit them.

I’ll trade you my bots for yours as mine are literally dumber then a box of rocks. 
They cannot even stay in a room when ordered. The only thing my bots do well is get in my way, and die, nothing more, nothing less. 
And I apologize to any box of rocks out there I might have offended for comparing them to my bots.
