Panther can only pen jumbo’s front on very close range in Enlisted, what you expected from a tiger?

it can pen the front, but you literally need to compenetrate your barrel in the hull of the jumbo
Well the thing is the Jumbo has sloped front armor which yes slopes can be abused on D-day or Ver-Sur-Mer to normalize it, but in every other situation, the Jumbo is practically impervious to the Tiger frontally other than with the MG port. The Jumbo with APCBC could also pen an un-angled tiger anywhere at point blank while the Tiger needs to get the side or aim at the weak points so that’s that.
from experience normalization doesnt help much for tiger on d-day and ver-su-mer. machine gun port or side is best way to kill jumbo. but maybe my position just sucks and i could make lot steeper angle with different position.
Yeah, normalization can be tricky, because you have to match the angle of the Jumbo almost exactly for there to be penetration.
Tiger can pen the MG port parts of the turret front and kill it with HE frontally
Btw try this at the training ground - if you have some 75mm HE and shoot it at the turret ring of any Panzer IV, or the cupola of the Panzer III, you’ll get a pretty much guaranteed one hit kill.
